You should be applying them like this: Step one: wash you hands Step two: each nail with a nail buffer or file Step 3: cut a wipe into ten pieces and clean on nail with each wipe to get rid of the oil Step four : apply glue on nail leaving a space around the edge with no glue Step five: apply nails gently pressing down and holding on each nail for 30 seconds After that don’t wash your hands for one hour after an hour has passed you may wash your hands and apply lotion enjoy 💕
@@iwillnot._2807 honestly it may not be the best advice but if they’re already loose it’s easy to pop then off with a cuticle pusher and then use a little nail polish remover to help get rid of the excess glue. Or you can try soaking the nails (not your skin,) in some nail polish remover for an easy less nail hurting effect, you can do the same with nail glue remover. If your nails feel dried afterwards you can use some cuticle oil and skin lotion! (I have some skin lotion brands I love to use!) Hope that was helpful 😊
@@gracefully_livy its social media sweetheart! Sbd every platform is designed to dumb you down even tiktok because its causing short attention spans in everyone.
Ive never known anyone to apply the glue directly onto the natural nail. Its always been applied to the nail tip/press on nail, putting just a dab of glue, which then spreads evenly onto the nail when pressure is applied.
Maybe I’m just special for doing it right the first time.. I’ve been wearing them for years since I’ve always been insecure cause of my habit of biting my nails, I’m 13- it’s funny to see them suddenly trending like their new🤣🗿
@@nxyeon3319 so like push your cuticles back which will create a little gap and you can slide the end of your nails in it. Don't worry it's completleys safe! my stepmom owns a nail company
This is how I get my nails to last 2+ weeks :first wash your hands and nails :then file your real nail down on the top to crest a grippy Barrier for the glue to stick :then apply you glue (the more the longer they will last) :and finally press the fake nail on your real nail HARD (that’s just what I do) And they should last 2+ weeks, one or two may fall off when you get closer to the 2 week mark
I recently got these fake press on nails that came with the glue and omg let me tell you they are so tight I can’t take them off. I’m wearing them as we speak
I'm probably answering so late 💀 but u should probably check the package and see how long they last. I have bought some before and they usually past for a week or so
how did you remove them? pls respond. and how long after did you do yiur bails again. is it true thatt your nails become weaker and weaker after you get them removed
Here is a hack to put on fake nails I have fake nails on right now and when you put the glue on pit a lot all around on your nail and then get your nail and don’t put the nail on straight on top out it on the top of your nail and slide it to the back of your nail.
Great question! You can paint on them with polish and you can also use the nail polish remover if you'd changed your mind. Press-on nails are super durable, a little polish and remover will not damage them
No that's not how you do it either. You only put a tiny bit of glue on your natural nail, and a bigger drop to the inside of the press on. Then put it on.
yall the glue is stuck to my nails, i tried to bite it off…didn’t go well. my tongue got stuck to my tooth, and my lips had nail glue all over them. i swallowed a bunch of nail glue, and now i might die. what do i do yall 🤷🏽♀️
Usually the glue never lasts a long time, whenever I apply press ons they glue starts chipping off after like an hour then the nail rips off. Do you know what’s causing it or am I just dumb?
Wrong, push the cuticles back and cut them off, dehydrate the nail and file both the nail and press on, to create a better grip. The same amount of glue showed in the video she said was right is right. Pess hard till dry.
@@lettucewrap1676 okay! also i can wear nails for only 6-7 hours right?? sorry if i'm asking a lot of questions, but i want to put on nails for my birthday and it'd be my first time
@@remrys yes but if your gonna do that with glue then be careful when removing them. Get them wet and put soap and stuff if you dont have anything to specifically remove them.
My glue was not opening so I used all my might and it splashed all over my hand and it looked so wrinkled and it burned so much but I used this cream and it helped so much
