Don't forget to do the same prep that you would for a glued on nail. Buff the nail and dehydrate it using alcohol, acetone or another nail dehydrating product
I didn’t do that when I first tried pres on nails and they all fell off very fast when I was out. Not buffing it could’ve been why Def won’t forget next time😂
@@nataliemoonsingsMe too, same thing would always happen to me when I was first doing press ons and it discouraged me so much I gave up on them. Then my sister gave me a pack of her kiss impress nails and I followed the prepping steps on the box and they stay on anywhere between 2-3 weeks just because I want to change them after a while! I love them so much!!
I used to wear my nails for longer but lately have been matching them to my outfits so I use glue tabs to use for a couple days and then clean the press ons after ☺️
@@maryam.o368 yes I do have some tips for you! so basically, our nail beds have moisture and oils in them, this makes any tacky glue become non sticky within a few hours. in order to fix this problem, we need to do a few things before putting on the nail tabs. we have to file the surface of our nails (which many ppl don't recommend so this is completely optional!) I do this though and it helps a lot, second, we have to buy a nail dehydrator. a nail dehydrator is something that dehydrates our nails and strips off any moisture, rubbing alcohol is a nail dehydrator and it works perfectly. you can also get those nail polish removers and rub them on your nails for 5-10 minutes, they dehydrate the nails as well. there are also specific products that cater to this but they are all very overpriced and def not worth it! anyway, after you're done with dehydrating your nails, you have to push back your cuticles. pushing back the cuticles helps a lot bc it uncovers more surface which makes the nails stick on better. you can also cut your cuticles but I don't recommend doing that by urself, you can accidentally cut urself so be careful! after you're done with doing all of that, you have to find a glue tab that fits perfectly on your nail bed, it shouldn't be too big or too small. when you find the right size, you're going to put on the press on nail and press hard on the nail for 1-2 minutes to get rid of any air bubbles. this should make your press ons last for longer than 2 days! :)

Today I got a set nails n said let’s try 1 nail w Uv gel and the other w a tab…. I never thought just to try w a tan I want them to last but it’s holding on well or I see people use smaller tab and use Uv gel around to help it better
@@LittleMissHoop yes tabs alone. The obvious things like making sure nails are prepped. Holding pressure on each nail for around 40 seconds, keeping hands dry for 2 hours after manicure. Also the longer the nail the shorter time they will last. So medium length nails I found last around a week maybe week and a half, long nails maybe 5 days and short around 2 weeks. Im just careful with them, never use them to open things, stuff like that.
heyy is it easier to take them off? and how much does it damage the nail + your real nail? i just bought a ton of tabs cuz i also hate glue but now im kinda unsure 🥲

As long as you hold the nail healthy theres no problem to re-use it. The nail/glue will soften in warm water mixed with baby oil (or any other oils, food oil etc.) and soap. Hold them in the water in a bowl for 15-20 min ❤

You either pick the nail tape that last around 2-3 days (great for a weekend with beautiful nails). Nail glue last up to 2-3 weeks deepending on you use. ❤

Using nail glue is best when you need to have beutiful nails over and extended periode 2-3 weeks. If its only for the weekend we recommend using nail tape ❤
