Everything is good but you forgot the back butter

In baking , Flour first than add water as much as needed . Like your video.

You need to back butter the tiles and collapse the air pockets in the trowel marks by moving the tile up and down. There’s a reason a trowel is made that way. That tile will fall off that wall in no time

Oh my goodness. Please never mix thinset like this. First have a vac running clipped to the bucket so you don't inhale the dust. Also wear an at least an N95 face mask. Don't just add water and thinset mix. Grab a large cup and add water to the bucket with the cup so that you can control the amount of water. Also follow the directions on the bag. It will tell you exactly how much water is needed for the volume. Then add water to get a creamy constancy. You wont need to add much. You also want to key the thinset into the substrate them trowel. Keying in the thinset is done by using the flat edge of the trowel and working the thinset into the substrate. Then you trowel the thinset.

The gray material was quite obviously mixed thinner. Not a good comparison.

Also, you need to back butter large tile. Pushing the tile is not setting the tile. The tile needs to be set using a back and forth motion collapsing the ridges. This is clearly not an experienced installer.

This looked more like a pro bond commercial.

Where can I purchase pro bond? Is that something Lowes would carry? Thanks!

This is definitely NOT the way to mix thin-bed mortar (alias thinset) properly!

I watch a lot of ur video, and I have a question for u. Can u used the mortar to lay the vinyl peel and stick sheet. I have peace some vinyl floor and now they're sticking up and I hate have to keep pushing it back , so I was wondering can I used the mixture of mortar to lay the vinyl.
