Thank you for this! I applied to univerity in Korea last year and got accepted but i changed m choices and i was sacred that applying to uk would be so much harder but thanks to this video it wasnt as hard as i thoght
Hello Juva . Thank you for sharing your information. Please reply to me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Should I apply for chevening scholarship first or get admissions from universities first ?
I'm so glad you like it😀 I recommend checking out the information stated on your university's and scholarship's website or asking them. I hope this helps!
Hi Juva, thanks for the video. Is it possible to apply to different courses at the same university + also for some courses at other universities individually or is it necessary to use the UCAS system?
Hi Carolin, I'm so glad you like the video :). If you want to apply for an undergraduate degree, you generally have to apply via UCAS. However, it is important that you check the websites of your universities because they will usually set out how the application process works.
Hello I hope you’re doing well Do we can transfer our Medical credit before the graduation It’s my 11 semester in Afghanistan actually I am an undergraduate student I want to apply on the UK medical universities will they accept me or not ?
Thank you very much Juva! But I must ask, if im an international student studying in an european system, do i need to have the ietls certificate ready as I apply to these schools or can it wait a bit until i get a decision? Will it influence the decision despite having good grades in english ? Thank you in advance !
I recommend checking the requirements of your university. Usually, you will need to take the IELTS once you have received a conditional offer. But it's important to check before applying just to be sure 😀.
I really appreciated the video, it was very useful. However, I would like to ask a question. While filling out my preferences, I am asked to fill out my postcode, but where I live we don't have one, what should I put in?
I'm so glad it's helpful to you :). Since this is a special situation, I'd recommend contacting UCAS and asking them what you should do. Hope this helps!
Is GCSE required for international students? Can you start the application process and then stop as you're working on it? Or should you submit it immediately? Also, is there a deadline to how long you can take filling out the application? Thank you!
Hi, GCSE is not required for international students. Usually, the universities have a list on their website where they set out which school certificates they accept, so I'd recommend having a look at that. You can stop filling out the application on UCAS any time and save it. Yes, there is a deadline, have a look at the UCAS website and also at the website of the universities you want to apply to. Sometimes universities have different deadlines depending on the course. Hope this helps :)
Hi Haleema, some universities require you to take a test as part of your application. I recommend having a look at your university's website. Usually, they list their requirements there.
Hi, I have been studying in English Medium university for 4 years. Do I still have to provide IELTS? Or I can simply provide medium of instruction certificate?
Hi 😀 That depends on your university. They may require you to take the IELTS nevertheless. I recommend contacting your university and asking them. Hope this helps!
Hi Juva, I’m following your videos on RU-vid and I have some questions (I hope I’m not bothering you btw). So I’m French and next year I wanna apply to Uni in London, I know France and Germany have different grading systems but I am struggling with entering my qualifications on ucas, as a foreign student that did this last year, I hope you can help me :) So here it is, do I need to enter every subjects? And should I put the overall of the year or the overall of the quarters? If I have an exam this year, do I need to put it even if I don’t have the grades yet? Thank you so much for you videos they are very helpful and I hope you’ll somehow help me to understand the education part on ucas :) Have a good day
Hi Lisa, I'm so glad you like the videos! I know that entering your qualifications can be a bit confusing. You need to enter your grades of every subject. UCAS also asks you to enter the final grade, so this would be the overall result of the year. If you will get grades in the future you should ask your teacher for so-called predicted grades. There should be a section on UCAS where you can enter them. I hope this helps :) Have a great day!
@@juva Hi again! I just entered my 3 years in high school quarters grade in every subjects + my grades from the exams so there’s a lot like 82 modules, is that too much? Should I only put my last year grades? I’m really lost
@@lisacousseau1517 Hi Lisa, don't worry! It's normal that there will be a lot of grades on your UCAS form. You should enter everything they ask for, and if that's a lot it doesn't matter.
As far as I know you need to apply for scholarships independently from UCAS. I'd recommend asking your university and doing some research online. Hope this helps 😀.
Hi Rathi, if you have not yet received your final school certificate, you need to enter predicted grades. These are the grades your teachers think you may get in your final exams.
hi :) I have a question regarding the votes...I've already have my high school diploma result and I know I should add each subject's grade under qualification "Diploma di Esame di Stato". Do I need to add all the subject I've studied or just the one the unis ask? And should I add only every year's grades (all under qualification "Diploma") or just my lasy year? P.S. I've attented an Italian national high school and it's about 5 years of study. Thanks! And sorry if I'm disturbing you but I don't know who to ask
Hi Alessia, that's an excellent question! I'd recommend contacting your university and asking them. If you are in doubt, I'd recommend entering all the grades you got. Hope this helps :).
Shall we apply our prefered course directly via University website .I am a non UK student and planning to do my masters. So without UCAS support ?..is it possible ?..I asked because majority of courses especially masters and MBA pgms are not access via UCAS portal .
Hi, I don't have any experience regarding Masters and MBA applications. I'd recommend checking out the university website and contacting them. Hope this helps :)
As an EU student you enter the information as everyone else, so there is no difference. I don't see why being homeschooled should be a disadvantage. Hope this helps :)
Thank you so much for this video which is very helpful! I’m from France and I’m kinda stressed about how fast it’s going! Your video is exactly what I was searching for, thank you again :)
@@newmovies7473 Currently, it's £20 for one choice, and £25/£26 for several choices depending on the year for which you apply. Filling out the form is free, but sending your application is not.
@@newmovies7473UCAS asks you about personal information, grades and so on. I'd recommend checking out the form so that you know what you need to provide. Hope this helps :).
amazing video..i am from india & wish to psychology with an international foundation year at loughborough university then i want to move on to sports psychology. Its my firm choice. But incase if i dont get it should i apply for more or only my firm choice..is there a preference order on the choices & the university you wish to apply??& is getting into foundation year easy?
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the video :) If you want to study in the UK, I'd recommend applying to other courses you also find interesting in case you don't get in your dream course. There is no preference order but if you get conditional offers you can pick a firm and an insurance choice in case you don't get in your firm choice. I have no experience with the foundation year, so I'm afraid I can't say anything about that. Hope this helps :)
@@juva I want to study in Munchen or Berlin cities ofGermany Could you help me ? I come from Uzbekistan located in Central Asia Should I learn German language if I go to Germany for studying
Thank you so much, the application seems much easier... however, I'm confused about the test situation. What kind of test do I have to study for eg. IELTS,TOEFL,LSAT etc. ?
I'm so glad it's helpful to you! What kind of test you need to take depends on your course. I recommend checking out your university's website. You may find all the information you need there.
Hi Juva! Thank you for this video, it was really helpful. However, I still have some questions. How do we know what tests we have to do? It depends on which courses we are applying for? Why do we need them? Thank you very much! 😊
Hi Maria! I'm so glad it's helpful. That's correct, it depends on your course. The university may require you to take a test that's related to your course (for example, I had to take the LNAT for law). If you are an international student, you may also have to take an English test.
Hi, I'd like to ask you a question when adding the grades into the application on ucas is it your grades from the gcse exam or your normal grades because in our country we have a bacaloria on our 3rd year in high school. So which one do we choose?
Hi Nicole, usually you need to enter the grades of your final exams. However, I'd recommend contacting them and asking them what you should enter because it may differ from country to country. Hope this helps :)
I know this was posted 3 years ago but I hope you respond, is reference same thing as recommendation? Also additional to IGCSE, A level and IELTS, I am thinking of taking ACT or SATs which do you recommend? And ty for this video it made me understand the whole thing way more thank you ❤
I'm so glad you like it 😀. A reference is a statement by a person who is familiar with your work, so you should choose someone who knows your work well. Regarding the tests, have a look at the requirements for your course to see whether you need to take any. I hope this helps!
hello madam I hope everything is going well , my question is that if the deadline is in January when do studies usually start in the UK? for instance if I were to graduate from high school in 2024 when should I apply for a bachelor's degree in 2025? also is the Moroccan high school degree acceptable to get into university? my Last question would be is there any age restriction for a bachelor's degree?
So great that you want to study in the UK! I recommend checking out the website of your institution. Usually, you can find the requirements for your course there. I hope this helps!
Hello Ma'am, i would like to ask something regarding applying to Uk universities. Is it mandatory to take extracurriculars such as volunteering to get into universities?I want to study medicine in the UK,and my schedule is pretty much packed so i don't have time to do any extracurriculars , do you believe that would prevent me from getting into a good university from there?
That's a great question! Of course, it will always depend on your course, so I recommend checking out the requirements. However, for many courses extracurricular activities are not that important.
Hey juva thank you so much for ur help.but i have a confusion regarding refrence like if i doesnot have any reference what should do and as well i don't have any contract with any teacher chould u plz clear my confusion i hope u reply
Usually it's a teacher or someone else who is familiar with your academic work who provides the reference. So I suggest talking to the relevant person.
Hey juva , im Egyptian currently living in egypt but im also a Britishcitizen l want to move to the uk for better education but i dont really know where to start 😭😭 do i need to take an islets test ?
Hi 😀 I recommend checking out the requirements for your course on the university's website. You can usually find all the information you need there. Hope this helps!
Hello, very informative video. But I have a question, the deadline you said was 15 th of January so until that time I have to apply for universities and after applying can I take the IELTS test or do I have to take the test before application? Id be greatful for your reply. Thanks :)
Hi :) I'm so glad you like the video! Usually, you're asked to submit an English language certificate once you get an offer. However, I'd recommend contacting your university and asking them because this may vary. Hope this helps :).
I'm afraid I have no experience with that, so I can't say anything about it. I'd recommend checking out the website of your university to see whether they say anything about career prospects. Hope this helps!
I am an international student and currently studying in a US community college. I want to transfer to a UK university for Bachelor's degree if I can. I did some research and saw that I have to start from the beginning as the education systems are different there. I don't have IELTS or TOEFL and SAT or ACT (I get into a US college with Duolingo). Is transferring to the UK even possible for me? Thank you for your amazing video!
This depends on your institution. Some institutions might not ask for the IELTS if your education was in English for a certain number of years. However, institutions have different requirements, so I'd recommend asking yours. Hope this helps!
So great that you want to study in the UK :). I recommend checking out your university's website. If there are any scholarships, it's likely that you can find more information there. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much for the guidance. I'm a postgraduate from Bangladesh, what kind of 2 references should I get and what do they ask from them? Would be really greatful if you can help me with this please. Thanks
I'm so glad it's helpful :). Generally, the reference should give an idea of your academic performance. I'd recommend checking out the requirements of your university to find out what they expect. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much for this great information. Plz tell me about subjects as well that which subject the university will easily accept I mean for choosing any subject for a post graduate program is that necessary to have a strong background for that particular subject?
I'm so glad you like it. It depends on the university you want to apply to. I'd recommend having a look at their website, they usually set out the requirements there.
Hi juva, I'm from portugal and I'm unsure about the reference part- would you recommend asking a teacher to do this or can it be anyone? And what needs to be included in a reference? Thankyou soo much :)
Hi 😀 It should be someone who is familiar with your academic work, so a teacher may be a good idea. Regarding the content, have a look at what UCAS say about this - they have listed a few points on their website of what should be included.
Hey I have a question btw thanks alot I am a studant in Dubai I study in a igcse cambridge curriculum doing my o levels now and then will do 2 A levels probably not sure do u have any idea if I can go to a uni in UK and financially am a but ok

This video is a life savor!!! Is there any way you can help me with my situation? I’m applying from a community college in the US, and I have 2 years of classes from this school. When I input my grades into UCAS do I only include my college, or do I have to include high school grades as well? If you know the answer that’d be a huge help. Thank you so much!
I'm so glad the video is helpful to you :). I'm afraid I'm not familiar with your situation, so I can't say anything about it. I'd recommend contacting UCAS and asking them because they may know best which grades you need to enter. Hope this helps!

Hi, so great that you want to study in the UK! I'd recommend first checking out which universities offer courses that you are interested in, and then checking which unis you prefer. Hope this helps :)
Thank you for the very useful video, my question is regarding the students from Middle East ,do they need to be graduated from a specific international school?, do they need any extra requirements rather than language certificate (which is EILTS i believe)?
I'm so happy you liked the video! As far as I know it does not matter which school you attended. You just need to make sure your certificate is accepted by the university you are applying to. If English is not your native language you need to take an English test which is IELTS or TOEFL most of the time. Some universities make exceptions if you have been educated in English for some time. I'd recommend checking that out on their website. Hope this helps.
Hello dania I'm also from the middle east and I'm wondering about if you've made it to the UK and if you did make it please can you talk about the process? I'm in such a horrible phase right now and I need tips Hope I didn't bother you :-)
hi, I have a question. In Singapore, the Cambridge-Singapore Alevel results are released 4 months after 15th of October. So, how do I tell them my results if i do not have my results yet?
Hi 😀 That's a great question! I recommend contacting UCAS and asking them what you should do. You may not be the only one in this situation, so there may be a way to deal with this.
@@juva Thank you so much🥰, I am girl in Afghanistan as you know that girls can't go to school i here in the Taliban's governtment, so I am in grade 11th and also my percentage in school was more than 95% percent, I don't have school diploma, is there any way for me to study in abroad? Hi Monalisa, universities may handle this in different ways. I therefore recommend contacting your institution and asking them how you have to submit evidence. I hope this helps!
Hi Juva, im also germany (currently living close to hamburg) and want to study in the UK (London to be precise). I wanted to know when I should apply for a Student Visa if i want to start studying in September 2024. Also, how can I apply for student loans as a foreigner. Would really appreciate you help!! Great video btw :))
i love this video! i’m new to all this so i have a few questions, for the fee, since its in pound do i have to change my currency? i’m still going into 10th grade and i live in the Philippines, i’m planning on going to the uk to study for law. we don’t have a-levels or major tests but only have national standardized ones, and it’s impossible to stand-out or have a major role in after-school activities since they prioritize older students, what do i do?
if the in-school after class activities prioritize older students, you'll eventually become one of the "older students" and then you can do your best to stand out. until then, try activities that are outside of school! clubs, conservatoires, language centers, competitions and internships all make your application and resume look great
@@elwiwi4799 thing is, i missed most of being the ‘older student’ because of covid. There aren’t any language centers or competitions to partake in, internships don’t exist here either. The most i can do are clubs. Although I am in music school and is one of their ‘representatives’, i’m planning for law, what weight would music have for law?😭
I'm so glad you like the video :). Regarding the fee, I'd recommend to check out whether you can pay using your bank account. Regarding your school certificate, have a look at the website of your university - usually they tell you which certificates they accept. If you are not involved in many extracurricular activities, this shouldn't be a huge problem, no worries. Hope this helps!
I'm an international student applying for Fully-Funded scholarships do I have to pay any fee in order to just apply for universities or there is no such thing as an application fee? please let me know Juva. :)
Hi Juva! I have a Higher National Diploma/Certificate (BTEC). Is there any difference in the application? My grades are much better in the BTEC so I would like to add that ones. Thank you!
Hi 😊 I recommend contacting your institution and asking them which grades you should provide. It's important that you enter the correct grades to make sure your application is accepted.
