How to Apply Washi Tape on the Edge of Your Bible Page - A Bible Journaling Technique Tutorial

I've done this to one of my bibles. I use them as markers for each book(only the first page of chapter) For example the skeleton washi from Michael's holiday box...I used for Ezekiel.

That card trick for tearing washi straight was worth watching by itself! Definitely going to do this. :)

This is such a fun technique for journalling. I actually have been doing this in my travel journals and my travel size book of shadows for years. It makes things smooth and nice looking and easy to find when u need a particular charm or spell. the only downside is sometimes, if the washi tape is cheap, the adhesive seeps through the tape and sticks the pages together. buy good quality washi tape folks!!!

if you do every page, it will be 3 times the size of the bible... tapering your bible from right to left in height. inclination. But i do see this as a good idea to apply it to specific pages like the beginning of the old testament, and new testament, or just in the first page of the new testament to divide it between the old testament and have easier quicker navigation across throuh reference guidance

Tks so much went shopping found some bibles at Goodwill now starting with my tape on my favorite scripture wow it's beautiful

I did this for psalms 119 and I love I'm gonna do it for John 10

I did mine with 3 inch pieces at the start of each book and graduallly moved the pieces down the pages as I moved through the Bible. I also followed the color wheel (Red - orange -yellow...) and that makes it very pretty. Thanks for the tips on how to be more precise as I may do that on the next Bible!

Love this idea instead of tabs

I like the look. Wish I had watched this before I put all the tabs in my Bible.

I started this in my Bible and it seems to be making the edges thicker and distorting the shape of the Bible. It is a hardback. Did you have this problem? I mean its thicker on the edges of course, but does it affect it much?

I love the idea of using washi tape in my Slimline NIV Bible that I just take with me to church or toss in my bag. It's a great way to tab the books without using your traditional page tabs!

Love this idea. How would you add washi tape that has a design such as birds? If you fold it over it would cut the design in half and part would be upside down. Help?

I did not realize that u could use washi tape in so many different ways in u r bible journal
