It’s worth noting the bookwyrms are really just particle effects. You don’t have to wait for them at all. They don’t need to travel to and from chests.
True, but I'm more than happy the/them mod authors did the effort of making the bookwyrms, they are so cute and *Amplify* the magic Aesthetic a bunch, I can see the love and care in this mod
I love the massive 30-block range on the storage lecterns. You can connect them to each other to make large storage networks. As you found out, just keep your boxes and barrels at the top level for sanity. As they work like controller extensions from the various Drawer mods, you can build them into farms to instantly import items. Zeig777, who came up with the trick of using the Enchanter's Eye as a storage remote originally with the developer, noted that you can put a block of Falseweave in front of an eye. Falseweave can be clicked on with any block in your main hand to disguise the Falseweave as that block. So you can avoid 'floating' a storage lectern or have a nice block behind it. As you found out, Minecraft should eventually respawn the dragon if you are at the End Island and there is no lit portal. It is a vanilla mechanic. After a fixed time, like 5 minutes, if Jean isn't there, she will respawn to attack you. You can use a warp scroll to capture the first Ender Dragon and return home. You'll still get an egg on the first kill in the world even if she is a respawned 'first' kill.
This mod is starting to feel like the magic equivilant of "Mekanism" because that tech mod also has a bit of everything. This mod has warp scroll portals, mekanism has teleporters. Mekanism has the QIO Storage system and this has the lecturn. Mekanism's mek armor can be upgraded with units and with this your wizard robes can be given perks by magic threads. Heck you can even use Source to power runes that can crush or smelt things like the smelting factory and crusher. It's no wonder I really like this magic mod because I like it where mods like this try to think about almost everything.
The ender dragon thing is a vanilla mechanic, if the ender dragon leaves the area (you can even tp it out to the end islands) it will respawn a new one.
The bookwyrms are just cute particle effects, as long as the chests (from any compatible mod, I use iron chests and its fine) are within range it will work, you just won't have the aesthetic of the bookwyrm "" Picking"" the items for you
It's rearranging everything into a more understandable format and making it into a video, if you cannot see the work needed to do that then there are alot more stuff you should be mad about.
