i died in lava and lost the guide at the beginning of the game, so i was trying to understand the wiki but my adhd brain kept getting distracted. this hooked me for 40 minutes and i can finally understand this shit 😭
This is the best series I've found for the mod. I was just randomly experimenting in game, but needed more information. After a few other guides I'm glad I found this one, the whole series is very clear and I understand it a lot more; I will be using this as my reference. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for mentioning when major things changed from the previous version of the mod, it was really helpful since I am coming from an older version and I was here for a refresh but sat down for a full watch once I realized how many things have changed. No complaints on that though it's kind of cool, reminds me of Thaumcraft in that way. Wonderful walkthrough :)
Very solid information video. I think maybe including how to upgrade the tiers of the armor would have been helpful but I assume you put that in a different video.
having used this mod, what I love about it is that it's huge but thing is, you don't really have to do EVERYTHING in the mod, you can just instead focus on what you want to do. Yeah you'll need to do some things that are essential but I focused on just being a spellcaster rather then have a magical base with automated stuff going on and now I've got spells that can one shot most mobs with really good arcanist armor that gives me more then an extra 100 mana. So, for anybody reading this that may feel overwhelmed by how big it is. The only things I think you need to know are what source is, the imbuement chambers and enchanting apparatus to craft most the items and you just learn more from there working towards what you want. I haven't even touched rituals yet but since I've maxed out my tier 2 gear I'm gonna be doing that soon and that's just proof that of though it may seem large and complicated it's not really as bad as you think. Give it a try if you're looking for a simple magic mod because this one mod has lots of cool things to do whenever you feel like learning it. Edit: THAT being said though, my ONLY complaint are finding wilden dens. Not sure if there is a way to track one down but because you have to find a den to get wilden parts for most your stuff I had to cheat and use a locate command so if any of you know a better way let me know, thanks.

so i have the magic craft pedistal thing built exactly like his but everytime i try to add the source gem it says invalid recipe and that it isnt close enough any fixes?

What mod do you use to see the recipes? Because i'm not able to look for them inside the game and it's been a headache. If it Jei or Rei how do i turn on the option to check them
I'm playing a modpack with ars included. I need to know what a wilden den looks like so I can find one and farm up at it. Nobody shows this off. Is it small? is it big enough that I can see it while flying around?
This mod is great but the armor textures are bugged for me so I look super janky using this armor. How can I fix this? I have installed other versions of this mod but I cannot get rid of the buggy armor textures for some reason
So if you really have trouble you can place an arcane core next to a unemployed villager and the tier three trades of the shady wizard are always shards. There are only four types of shards and you get two types so it’s a 50/50 shot you get the starbunkle the first time. I don’t find I have trouble with finding starbunkles or drygmy but I almost always use this tactic as getting wixies can be a huge pain. You’ll want the other trades anyhow. They can have a trade to buy fibers or amethyst shards which are both like getting emeralds for free.
Hey so I downloaded it and some recipes are saying no recipe found try putting alters closer but they are right next to the thing I just want to make a magebloom seed is it the source because creative source jars allowed it to be made but survival I have 5 source jars next to it can I get some help
Won’t be doing a video for that but it’s simple. Each tier of glyph has a certain level of gel. To craft a glyph you put a tier of gel in and then a catalyst item to mix with it. Make sure you are supplying source to it and it will auto craft and pop out. JEI will say what the crafts are for each glyph
so for me the scribes table isnt working first of second many recipes are very different even for the scribes table i am on the last version what is going on ? i am playing the roguelike dnd 2
I cant even use the enchanting apparatus, it says that no receipe found, and that there must be pedestals in 3 block radius, but the apparatus is surrounded by pedestals, just like in the video, why does is that happening?
I already discovered why I couldnt, there was a pedestal next to the enchanting place, and it somehow blocked the enchanting apparatus from working bruh, but still, thank you for trying to help! thank you for the tutorial, without it, I would never play ars and always think that its a too complicated mods, that is so complicated, that I would die of old age before I would understood 1% of the mod
So Im guessing I wont get an answer, but when I try to make the Air Essence the chat show "No recipe found." I have the setup exactly like this 18:38 but it wont work? Im in 1.18.2 if that helps, but I should have the materials (feathe, arrow, wilden wing) in the right spots as well as 5 full jars to do it, so I dont understand whats going wrong?
i would check the in game book to make sure those are in the game. when i played on 1.16.5 these were not in the game, now im playing in 1.20.1 and they are. The in game book should have a recipe for you and if not then check the JEI for the imbuement chamber recipes. The version youre playing might not have them.
If you are using just JEI, Jade and ars nouveau then nearly nothing. 4gb of ram is enough. If you have a bigger pack with 200 mods then 8 gigs of ram would be minimum but 10-12 gigs would be recommended
