I wanted to thank you for this video. I received my refrigerator with 2 top shelves for the left door. I could not figure out why the center shelf wouldn't fit. When I saw your video explaining there should be 3 different shelves, it made things easier.
Many thanks for a very helpful tutorial! My GE Profile was delivered today and like so many things these days, didn't have an instruction manual. I even looked online but couldn't find one, so I had no idea as to how the bins were supposed to go in. It's almost midnight and thanks to you, I was able to get everything in place in just minutes. Thanks so much, and I hope your fridge and mine will last many years! By the way, I did turn on the WIFI but am not really expecting to use it.
@@ktlewis02 after having it connected for 24 hours it finally came to temperature. I would say it takes 24-48 hours to fully cool. I bought digital thermometers to ensure it’s keeping temp.

Does the door-in-door latch have too much play in it? It's like the latch doesn't fit firmly against the door so when you pull you first pull the door-in-door door about a 1/4 inch away from the door before you pull the actual door open. I would like to be able to adjust that latch somehow, but can't find anything on it.
Hello! I’ve been trying to find others that have this unit. I have a question about the dispenser light. On my first unit, I turned off the “light bulb” so that the dispenser light wouldn’t be constantly on. The light would still turn on whenever it sensed motion (someone walking by) or simple putting a cup under the dispenser. I unfortunately had my fridge swapped due to defective freezer door seal. I got my second unit and I turned off the “light bulb” just like before but now whenever I pass by the fridge or place something under the dispenser, the light doesn’t turn on. Does yours replicate any of these scenarios? Like I said I didn’t have the light turned on 24/7. The dispenser light on my first fridge would turn on when it sensed motion, the dim down. This new unit doesn’t not turn on when sensing motion. Hope I’m making sense, and really appreciate the help.
@@ktlewis02 hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah I tried that and it still doesn’t work. My guess is that my fridge came with a faulty sensor. This was my 3rd one and it was the least problematic one. I’ve given up on that feature haha.
Have you had your back lighting go out yet? We’ve had it just over 3 years and now we’re having trouble with the fridge being cold after the wall cut off completely
Oh no! I haven’t had any issues. For the cooling I’d recommend checking the ventilation on the back and make sure all the evaporator fins are clean of dust and hair
@PilotJon Thank you so much for responding! I ended up having to reach out to get it repaired. The motherboard and whole back LED panel needed to be replaced. Thankfully, we had a 5 year warranty, and we're approaching year 4.
Hi my spring came off the door paddle to fill water and ice behind the water paddle by any chance do u have a way to fix this I can’t find how to get behind the paddle
How do you like it so far? Also, would you say it produces a decent amount of ice? In my house it is only my husband and I... and we might have small gatherings at time (6 people total). Wondering if it would be enough ice for about that many people?
