This video will show you how to put together a three basket rolling Raskog utility cart sold by IKEA. This is a step by step video for those of you who are confused by IKEA assembly directions.
After a house move 5 years ago I was at a total loss as to how to assemble my two Ikea carts. After googling how to do this I came across your channel and was astounded at how clear your instructions were and so easy to follow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 😊😊😊
Just bought a raskog cart today at IKEA, not knowing they were such a hot item until reading reviews, but coming across your video is such a help! I was gonna ask a male friend of mine to assemble it but you make it look pretty doable for me to tackle! thanks so much for your thorough and understandable instructions!
Followed through and successfully put together my white rolling cart. Didn’t think I could do it. Didn’t understand the manual Thanks very much I appreciate
2023: my model does not have screws at bottom but his method still works. Thanks so much for explaining middle basket cause I was about to pull my hair out before watching because I thought I did something wrong.
The bottom curved pieces of mine has no screws. And they don't fit tight enough together, so the bottom basket won't attach with brackets on both sides. IKEA must have changed the design for the worse. The bottom bars end up being too far apart. Design change stinks.
I just returned mine after noticing it doesn’t have holes like you show in the second step. They no longer have hole for the two bottom pieces 😡 Tgry fit together with out screwing….:
I had the same problem. First I screwed the bolt without the bracket on one side so the tray is in place temporarily. Then I wrapped a bunch of plastic wrappers that came in the package and put it on the floor so the screws, tilted the unscrewed end, held the bracket in place and leaned on the tray to push it in so I could screw the nut it in place. Then flipped it and unscrewed the temporary screw to re-screw with the bracket. Floor -> Plastic wrap about one cm thick -> Bolt -> Bracket -> The bars of the cart's hole aligned to the bolt -> Tray hole -> some weight -> Finally the bolt is long enough to screw the nut, then tightened with the tool.
Can you tell me the distance from outside post to the outside post on the same side. I am curious if the Michaels Lexington Cart Pegboard will fit on to this cart? Thank you
