I just purchased 5 of these drawer boxes. They are very easy to assemble and very well designed and made. Fantastic product! By the way I was trying to get quotes on these drawer boxes at the local home improvement companies and they wanted to charge well over $70 for a standard drawer box. Barker Door was $15 per box. What a price!!!
Just bought a dozen BIG ass boxes from you guys. I gotta say, very nice quality. I built an inverted jig to drop down in the box to hold it square. Works a treat. Thanks again.
I would add one final step. Get a square and check the drawer after assembly. A couple of light taps to the out-of-square corner and the drawer is spot-on. There is just enough free-play in the joints to make this an issue for me. But all-in-all, the plywood drawer is great and VERY solid.
I've built custom cabinets before, and $15 is less than the price of labor required for cutting down the plywood sheets to dimension, cutting the dadoes, and routing the dovetail joints. Don't even start with the cost of Baltic birch ply. Hard to believe it can be so cheap.
Three things: 1. Chad is so handsome, it's almost distracting. 2. Chad is so handsome, I can't look away. 3. I have a custom kitchen that is 10-years old. Wish the construction was plywood. The particle board boxes and drawers fail on a regular basis.
