I decided to do an updated assembly for the Ikea twin metal bunk bed check it out Here is the 3rd bed that fits below the bunk Amazon Affiliate: www.amazon.com/shop/andypaulos Music: www.epidemicso...
My brother bought a loft bed 3 years ago and what I can remember is that he doesn't read instructions and the next day I saw him welding the parts together
Hey man thank God for you as you helped save me some head ache and time by sharing your time and instructions as my girlfriend purchased this bed for her son. A variant model. I had reassemble this model without instructions or brand info, minor difference in your model vs ours, but same bed in US. Thank you man for your help. We have a functional bed instead of spare parts.
Dear Andy Paulos , You sir are a 'steely-eyed missile man', brilliant!!!, loved your top-tips also and easy to follow instructions. My daughter's said they had the best night's sleep of their entire lives. Thanks so much,, JahWebHiPowa ~(;-o) PS: Thanks to Mrs Paulos also xXx
@@adamburkhart4708 update: I went to customer service in local Ikea store in my town, and told them about the parts I lost. I show them the part list that I found from internet. they didnt much asking but just ask me to wait a moment to find it inside their inventory. after 20mins finally they found it and hand it to me. I asked how much the price, they said about 0.17 usd per piece and told me to just put the money inside a box beside the screws/nuts inventory rack. to be honest, it was conveniences and really helpful. I feel grateful spending that money for the sake of my kids safety. Note: the picture of parts was found from this website, tungwaiyip.info/blog/2014/09/30/i_hate_ikea
I have one problem , when it came to the base , the frame and the base wouldn't match up so I couldn't screw them together. can someone help..many thanks
Did you ever figure it out becuase I'm having the same problem. Either the cross bar fits but the railing with the ladder wont or when i spin the long pole the railing will now fit but now the holes for the cross bar are on the wrong side
hi! I have this bed, it was mine when I was a kid and now i have it again. I was wondering, do you think I could make this into a loft bed? and just take off the bottom bunk's frame? thanks!
I was searching for a video to show me what screw went where. This was practically useless. The piece that went down looked like it was going up?? I bought this frame second hand with a bag full of hardware which is all supposed to be there, but there were many screws and such I did not see in this video. If you were a patron and you watched this video, would you know how to put it together? We have instructions for it brand new out of the box. Just disappointed. the description would describe and then change to saying "this" or "that" making me look back at the video and have to go back and hear that part again. This is the video used for google too.
I can’t believe ikea stopped selling this bunk bed 😢 they used to have nice bunk bed, kids beds they got rid off them and now they are selling bunk bed for toddlers .
I am disassembling this bed now, and wondering what were the empty wholes in the mattress holders. There is nothing in the official assembly instructions about them and nothing in the video. The ones you can see in 8:51 on the left form the left holder and near both sides of the face. What in the world are they for???
Looking to buy one of these for my twin girls - could you maybe help out with heights/dimensions - looking for the height of the gap between the two bunks and the height from floor to the bottom of the top bunk, cheers!
@@AllgamesplayedYT Cheers for the info but that doesnt give me what i am looking for - its ok i think i can get the info from Ikea twitter help - cheers for the effort tho
You have to probably reorder hardware from Ikea, here in the US. But it's metric screws and thread 5M or 6M. Different hardware store may have some pieces but as I was told have to go directly to manufacturer
