How To Assemble The Green Machine by Huffy 

Just bought a 3rd for kid #3 , have 2 and my kids ride for about 1 hr a day and their calves are getting thick from this exercise.

hmmm yes, only one side though..... the axel is supposed to stick out a little bit so the washer can rest on the on the axle so it moves freely .. but on the the other side the axle isn't sticking out at all infact it's s to far in, so when you tighten the nut the wheel doesn't , move as freely but i'd rather it bee safe and it would still work. I was curious so I swaped axles from the ok one to the other side but same issue, so got a feeling it's the wheel or something else causing it.

@@Omarsshow dang, higher than I thought.

Deflate, flat hear outer tube, remove and replace inner into the outer and flat head in and downward. I suggest not to inflate until completed

Same way you replace a bike inter tube. Remove the front wheel. Make sure air is empty by holding deflate button on fill nozzle, Use a pry tool to remove tire from rim, prefer plastic as metal tools may scratch rim. Once tire is off replace from Walmart or wherever same size tube as indicated on tire. Reverse removal inflate to tire recommend psi

@@hughwegley9630 remove the two lower allen screws on each side of the fork

Right under the wheel fork, removal all the air, use a wedge tool or crew bar, a strong plastic to avoid rim scratches off you have one, gently peel off one side of the tire and hand remove the rest, the inner tube is located inside the tire, reverse install

@@kingkahu2035 probably worked it out already but there's a plastic cover you move out the way.

missing washers myself , and also a wrench socket

@@HuffyBicycles What's the maximum recommended rider weight limit? I'm actually thinking of getting one for myself but at 47 years of age and slightly over 170 pounds I'd be worried about investing in one if I'm too heavy to ride it without breaking it. I'm surprised that Huffy bicycles hasn't produced a version for adults yet when they've been making this product for over 20 years now? Surely we adults would want one too.

I guess my question was answered in the video? I just might purchase one after all?

Marx made the original all plastic model in the late 70s as the successor to the big wheel which they first introduced in 1969. Huffy simply reintroduced the concept using steel bicycle frame technology in the early 2000s.

@@henrytomaz9608 Mine was 160 after shipping via amazon. I had a heck of a time attaching the steering linkage bars though.
