I found that removing the outtake tube from the top cap does not appear to be possible without damaging the little plastic fitting it attaches to. in fact none of the tubes come off their fittings ... even though I applied the silicone to the fitting prior to install. So that's a negative. otherwise it works well.
of course the reason one wants the tube to detach is for proper storage. I good design feature would be to have auto-clips on all the connections ... not solely the existing one at the base of the housing.

Hey guys is the quick disconnect valve at the bottom of the pump unit supposed to come off or is it removable? Mine just popped off the other day looks like it was glued in place?
I purchased the Katadyn Base Camp 10L earlier this year on Amazon and used it per the manufacturer instructions in clear fresh water streams AND cleaned it after each use. But the filter clogged after only four (4) uses. I so wanted this filter to work correctly. Will Katadyn refund my money? If so, how? Thank you
J Mash considering you bought it from Amazon I would assume no. I’ve used my 10L for years and have never had a clogging issue. I think maybe it just filters slowly due to the gravity being the only pressure? Might as well try and contact them anyway. Or the seller. But with COVID I’d be surprised.
Disimba, I did buy through Amazon. I contacted Katadyn because they guarantee the filter will not clog for the first 12 mounts.Katadyn mailed me a replacement filter. Hopefully it will work better. Thanks for your comments.
Really bad video. You should really have gone over all the parts, mine came with the connecting piece attached to the input barb and it was really unclear if it was supposed to come off
