Great video, Michael! I've done the nighttime guided meditation several times myself and I can say they do work pretty well. I tried a few guided meditations from Paul Santisi and a few from Susannah Is This A Dream. My first few accidental AP as a kid was also me trying to stay awake to watch a movie or a TV show. When that occurs, I would usually see grey aliens walk through my bedroom walls and just stare at me. Other times it would be these entities with black cloaks. I remember in one of those experiences, I saw the black cloak entities walk by my doorway (that was my second time seeing them), so I went to go follow them. Tried to turn on the hallway lights, but my hands just couldn't flip up the light switch. It would just vibrate intensely when I tried. Not understanding what's going on, I decided to just go back to my room to finish the movie and that's when I saw myself sitting upright on my bed with my head down. Of course I freaked out and slammed straight into my body and woke up, being even way more confused. The energetic rushes is a regular occurrence for me when this happens. The pulsating sound I hear is almost mechanical sounding, like an engine noise or something you would hear at a factory.

+Larz thanks for the comment. That would be freaky. I had a recent experience where I didn't realize I was out because I thought I messed up the exit. It would be crazy to accidentally come across yourself. :)

Awesome! Glad to see that our conversation was helpful for you. Thanks for sharing this. I was wondering what you were up to! I hadn't seen any new vids in a while. What's funny about the timing of your video is that I experienced it just last night. I was fighting my sleep, trying to get through a movie. I knew once I went to bed, it would happen as always. Sure enough it did. I didn't leave the body though. I just allowed the vibrations for a while and then broke out of the state. When I tried to go back to sleep, the process repeated, but this time even stronger. Lots of energy rushes as you said. I don't usually notice them traveling up and down the spine, but just feel them kind of blasting through my body. Again, I broke out of the state and finally fell asleep. For me, it's nearly a 100% success rate. And this has been happening since childhood! So I say you're on to something my friend.

The holidays are always a great time to kick back and recharge. Oh! I forgot to mention. When I finally went back to bed, I became lucid in the middle of my dream. Pretty weird. I don't lucid dream much, but for those who think that lucid dreaming and projection is the same thing, I respectfully disagree. There is a very distinct difference in my experience. What is your take on this?
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+TexRock they are very different for sure. Mine are absolutely distinguishable. They may be related somehow or different levels on the spectrum of consciousness, but they are definitely not the same thing.

youre right this is exactly how i had my first obe experience. i listened to guided meditation before sleeping at night. i reached the vibrational state but was unable to keep my focus after that so i stopped after about an hour. later i woke up around 3 am took a side and went back to sleep. but as soon as i closed my eyes i started experiencing my body being starting to levitate and realised it was actually happening and within seconds i was out of my body and didnt have to really do anything to get there.

Another good method for this is to hold your forearm up while laying down to go to sleep. Every time it drops it wakes u up. I read about this in a couple of books.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Laura Weisser I have played with that method quite a bit. Robert Bruce talks about it in his books and videos. For me the problem was that I could never get relaxed enough to fall asleep with my arm propped up. I made up my own variations of this as well. I tied a small weight to my finger and hung my hand over the edge of the bed and each time I fell asleep, the weight would drop and yank on my finger. That worked better, but I had to pull the weight back up each time, which took more effort than was convenient while trying to maintain a relaxed state. This one I think works well for me because I can remain completely still and relaxed through the entire thing.

Phase Evolution 😁 I am delighted to say that it DID help tremendously as a great WBTB method. My "normal" time to WILD/astral is early morning. My parrot joins me in bed around 5-5:30, he sits on my head and I eventually drift off and out. That's my personal technique: parrot on head. This AM my feet & legs kept lifting. Usually it starts with my head. Problem is, within my dream state, I am lifting out, have a tough time leaving my dream bed. I've yet to leave my dream bedroom. However, you!!... (thank you!!!!) got me back to the proper state, I'll try same thing again tonight. No matter what, wow, I feel SO GOOD after. Best way to start a day.

That makes sense (to listen to something that helps you dip in and out of sleep). I remember in one of Bob Monroe's books, that he was talking about his research on learning while sleeping and how he was listening to some kind of audio recording while sleeping. Apparently, that phase of his life was when he started astral projection for the first time. So maybe it is the idea of listening to something and trying to concentrate on it that gets things started. I used to accidentally astral project in college and I recall it was during the time frame that I was memorizing the ABC's backwards (strange I know!) as a way to fall asleep. By working on this little mental task at night, it kept my mind away from other stressful issues. And, in hind sight, I believe it may have been what caused me to project. I may have been dipping in and out of sleep while working on this mental task. I also heard someone say once that she astral projects easily by reading a book until she falls asleep - - another mind task that could pull you out of sleep perhaps several times. Thanks for sharing your ideas and innovations. Lots of fun.

Hey Evolution Man. Very nice video ! I have to admit I do easily achive the sleep paralysis state when I'm tired, and when I'm not trying to get it. I've already said it, but I can get this state just by lying on my belly. So, once I achieve this state following the techniques from a french astral projection manual book (wich contains a lot of different techniques and a comunity exepriencing it). I was on my rigth side, and I sudenly felt myself deeping into the sleep paralysis state. Every time I get to this stage I'm freaking out, but, this time, I succeed to control myself. "ok you are safe here, in your bed, no one but you is here, give it a try". As I controled and washed away this fear, the energetic rushes began. It's exactly as you said, coming from the botom of my spine and ruching to the top. And in a few seconds I felt pulsation at the third eye point. As it goes stronger and stronger I heard the rushes like a heart beat. It's like I heard the bloodstream but louder and louder in the same time as the pulsation at the third eye. Then it continues getting stronger, ferars came back, I tried to reassure myself .... I even tried to chant "ajnaaaaa" concentrating at the pulsation... but no ... my body moved and turned on my back ... it was over. It was the most intense begining I ever had. Beyond those fears were a really wonderful feeling of love and trust that I dond't get the chance to expand :) Thanks for your vids

After your micro-sleep video I found myself one night easily dipping in and out of sleep several times. When in the awake mediative state an image of my deceased brother randomly came into my head then all of a sudden my whole body started to vibrate and this crazy bright white light started to fill my vision and felt like it was flowing through my entire body and this immense feeling of love (cheesy I know) was surrounding me. There was a jet engine roar in my ear but unfortunately I freaked out and I snapped myself out of it. Wish held it together! Thanks for all the vids mate, looking forward to getting back into it and trying this new technique out.

A guided meditation to focus the awareness and bring you up into multiple awakenings in a short period of time. Frank Kepple's "rundown," I call it "Climbing the Beanstalk" or my beanpole for short. Frank K thought this, preceded by Noticing images and stuff, was the silver bullet or pretty close to it. Your video pointed out what I was doing wrong. When I feel the suction of sleep I've been going to sleep and waking up to do Noticing sessions later when I don't have to fight sleep. I will now try instead to climb my beanpole when sleepy, maybe sitting in a chair instead of lying down. Then after multiple awakenings, go ahead and fall out. I think these multiple awakenings alert your dream bodies to be standing there ready to catch you when you fall. You are onto something big, the methodless method that underlies all methods. That's as close as you'll get to a silver bullet. See you on the other side.

This is awesome! My very first attempt to astral project was also listening to a guided meditation after waking up at 3am. I was halfway listening when I fell asleep and woke up in the vibrational state. The type of rashes of energy I heard though sounded more like a television noise when you pick a channel that is out of service. And I feel it going from my head to feet and back and forth, but I got too excited that I ruined the process. Since then, I've been trying to understand and repeat the same process, but it didn't work. I guess it is because I wasn't doing it in the middle of the night. It's always around 7am when I wake up and can't fall asleep anymore. I'll go back to practicing it at 3am and see what kind of results I'm going to get then. Thank you for sharing this information with us.

I experience those Summ feelings when I get deeper in my meditation state. At first it is just relaxing, lying in bed and trying thinking about nothing. As I progress and accept all the thoughts and get distance to them there is always some "pulling summ" at my feet that change frequenzy from still to fast . Then every now and then, thoughts slipping through and those summ rushes stop. As I try to focus again I can feel it coming back as i let go of all the thoughts. At some point I just float. One question to you: This rolling out thing I can't really understand. I listen to Hemi-Sync and Gate 3-1 is about floating. I just feel this "summ summ" thing rushing to my head. If going down, I feel it going down to my feet. Is that something similar to this rolling out feeling? I will definitly give that Microsleep WBTB a try. Sounds fun :) Have a good one!

I'm gonna try this. I recall having sleep paralysis in the past and feeling this strange pulling sensation as if I was being dragged out of bed. I always panicked before. I realize now I was just separating. It's so scary though it's hard to just let it happen. The other typical sensation I have with SP is a strong sinking feeling into to bed. I have a really hard time getting past the fear.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Laura Weisser I really did too. At some point you have to just surrender and let it happen, but for me, getting to that point took a ton of repetition, getting to those states that were accompanied by strange sensations over and over.

I'll try this with a podcast tonight I guess, I don't think a guided meditation will keep me too interested. But Just lettin ya know a little progress ive had over the past month. I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time! Two times now. The first I had to help a friend move, so I had to get up early. I went to bed late and had my alarm set and where I knew I had to get up early I think thats the only reason this happened but I was in paralysis for about a minute to two minutes completely unaware that I was in it and saw a outline of a man figure in my room with no features and could see through him. I was scared of the figure tryed to move, couldn't and got worked up till I woke up. Second time I just woke up from a bad dream two nights ago and briefly felt the paralysis for like 3 seconds and I was up. But it's nice to actually get a feel for the experience and I guess you can call that progress

Sounds like a great plan. I haven't had any projections since Doctor Strange came out in theaters (I was so excited about it I had them two nights in a row haha), but I'm definitely one of those people that feels the pulsating energy. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I've been using those to avoid sleep paralysis for years, making myself wake up after one or two, not realizing that it could be used to project. They don't happen quite as often now that I actually want them to, it's almost like projecting uses up some chemical in my brain that was built up and the overflow makes it happen unintentionally. I actually first heard of someone experiencing them from a channel called Miss Wee, where she describes experiencing the same thing. And of course when I get the pulses, I half pay attention to them ("bathe in the vibrations" like you said) to allow them to speed up into a steady vibration.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Chrome166 yeah, I know what you mean. I have had times where I am sure I had a breakthrough and I think I have it all figured out and then the next week what I did the previous week no longer seems to have any effect. Still searching for that silver bullet that will keep working consistently. :)

Congrats! It sounds like you found a method that works great for you. Im still trying to have my first OBE. Im must be getting closer because I noticed Im starting to enjoy the sensations rather than be frightened by them. Yay for that. The sounds I hear are different from yours, though. Mine sound more like a bag of change being shaken twice, repeatedly. Like shrng shrng... shrng shrng. I suppose that means the vibrations are next? Something weird is happening to me all day long, too. My skin feels like its alive. Ticklish almost. Like a mini vibration sensation thats been lasting all day. I feel it more when I lay down to go to sleep. Its stronger in my legs. When i lay down to go to sleep, I can increase the feeling with meditation. Do you have some left over sensations in your body throughout the day, too?
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Eric Alves sounds like all good signs. I have residual throbbing and tingling all up my spine for most the day afterwards. Something interesting that started 6 months or so ago is I hear the noises associated with projection, but much softer during the day, but only in places where I practice projection. It is like my body knows what is coming when I lay in my recliner or on my back in bed and the process is anxious to get started.

Funny, because that was exactly the way I have experienced oobe myself. I work as a freelance artist and very often I work at night to the point my eyes are just closing and my body just begs for sleep. Then I go to sleep and sleep paralysis comes naturally and very quick. Sometimes I've had that sleep paralysis state day after day through the whole week. And also the noise is there, but it's one, long noise getting louder and louder.

Once the pulsating static builds in pitch and frequency and volume for me, it is one continuous noise, but it almost always starts as a soft, almost imperceptible static. Interestingly, I have heard that for many years. I just didn't ever realize what it can turn into until I started experiencing OBEs

I have the vibrations you speak of. They happened a lot more toward the beginning. I even remember being a child and having these sounds/vibrations, and I would be stuck in sleep paralysis. I know exactly what you mean when you talk about that "zwomp zwomp zwomp" sound. It is extremely intense. I have different sorts of vibrations that I both hear and feel. My whole body vibrates though so strong that it seems like someone is shaking the bed. Sometimes the vibrations are pin pointed throughout my body in certain locations, and it will run from the top of my spine down to my groin area (I assume through my chakras). It's pretty crazy.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+MyGoshTash mine tend to be in the same area, but they go the opposite direction. They tend to start at the bottom and explode upward into my brain.
@MyGoshTash
@MyGoshTash 7 лет назад
That sounds a lot like Kundalini Awakening. People explain that they experience that sensation of the energy exploding out of the top of their head when your Kundalini Awakening happens. I've been reading up on it. I'm sure you've encountered material about it and know about it if you've been reading up on astral projection. I have yet to have the energy feel as if it runs up my spine and then explodes out of my head. I just feel it moving throughout my spine area pretty much.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+MyGoshTash yeah, the sensation I feel especially when using the direct method is exactly how Robert Bruce describes kundalini raising. I think it may be related or.just another term for the same phenomenon.

+Carterguy if you approach it in a positive state of mind and go one step at a time, gaining familiarity along the way with all the crazy sensations and experiences, the fear barrier is completely manageable. It will occur simply because none of this can be prepared for in waking life, but you can push through it and as experiences become more commonplace, you will go further and further

Usually, I will feel this pulsating vibration if I try to direct method, but this is very rare and takes me about an hour to get to it, but it never progresses further for me. This pulsating will also happen if I just wake up randomly and I haven't opened my eyes yet and am not fully awake, then I will get them for a couple of second. Sometimes they have that sound effect too! My vibrations go through my whole body though, not just from the bottom of my spine to my head. Usually when I project (which has only been a couple of times), I always get out of body through the indirect method. When I first wake up and think instantly about projecting. I by-pass the vibrational stage and it feels like my energy expands to about a foot away from my physical body then I know I can roll out. I want to say it almost makes a "Bjshh" sound (the J is supposed to be there - just try to say J and sh sound together, it makes a vibration between your teeth). When my energy is expanded it feels cooler and lighter I want to say. Sorry for the long message! Does this ever happen to you?
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Colton Baird-Rowe I get that all the time waking up if I don't move. The expansion thing I have not experienced,but I do feel lighter and a sense like backwards upward vertigo is pretty common.

A method that seems to work for me is to completely read and watch everything on ap for about a week. Then just stop for week then do your chosen technique. The subconscious i think is our mind's bored twin you need to spark its interest and it will work hard for you. Every time you try a technique your talking to your subconscious.

If you find that you are falling asleep too easily, practice somewhere other than your bed in a position you don't usually sleep in, and pick a spot that is not too comfortable, like a recliner or couch or yoga mat.

Great experience thanks for sharing will have that in my list as an option had never done a guided meditation combined with that particular technique but have listened to binaural beats at least once don’t know if they are the same or just similar... and not sure if it was a casualty but I did astral project that night I listened to binaural beats and using the indirect method technique and micro sleep, that last one I learned from you 😁👍🏻 now I experimented putting a small cell phone vibration alarm under my back I’m not sure if the vibrations in my cel phone under my back triggered the vibrations in my body but that’s how I got out ... Now I will definitely give it a shot at this technique you used there and see if I’m successful ...👍🏻 I love astral traveling and will try and do almost anything 😂 to get out of my body consciously...

That is cool you used a cellphone under your back. Did you make that one up? I used to have a fit bit and I would use the silent alarm against my lower back to induce the vibrational state. It was less and less effective the more I did it and eventually my fit bit broke and I didn't bother to replace it.
@thegreatarkanum3037
@thegreatarkanum3037 5 лет назад
Phase Evolution thanks . Yes I made that up what happens is that following your technique of micro sleep combined with the indirect method I set my alarm to go off at lest 4 times 30 mins apart then 20 mins apart from each other’s but the ringing alarm was to abrupt for me so always use the vibrating alarm so once noticed while the alarm woke me up vibrating my body started vibrating so connected those two and have been using this tiny dumb cell phone for both vibrating alarm for.micro sleep and a trigger to induce the vibrations , so some times I wear the tiny phone as a wrist band some times I put a suck on my foot and and the tiny cel in it and others under my back I have had a few nice conscious experiences using the cel phone , but now for some reason I’m not waking up with the vibrations from my little cell phone and I haven’t had any more experiences using this technic or trick 😂 . you mentioned some small device you used but said it broke tell me more about that may be we could use 4 small devices like that on the ankles and wrists and back we have to find a device that works cause a few months ago I was having a conscious AP experience every 7 , 10 , 15 , and 17 days apart from each other and I was super happy 😃 but now is taking 20 days and close to 27 in some occasions and once one month and a half days so hope this don’t ever happen again 😂 so I’m not very happy I don’t know what have changed but while this amazing experiences worth the wait I would like to have more control of when I have them so please tell me more about this device you built and used ,and what do you think of the ones out on the market may be we could design a simple one and i mean simple one 😂😂 together that we could test and experiment ourselves , that works and that we can share with every one looking to AP...
@PhaseEvolution

The one I used is called a Fitbit. It is just the basic model with a silent vibrating alarm. I would use a piece of sports tape and attach it to my back at the base of my spine. Like I said, it worked great at first, but over time lost it's efficacy. I also noticed that I started to sleep through it as well on occasion. I think my body just got too used to it.

Hey I actually did have an OBE this afternoon. I was on a red mars like planet but there were man made structures on it. I decided to fly into space to see what it looked like from really high up. Unfortunately I didn't get very far before my vision cut out. I tried to see over and over again but it didn't work. Then the whole thing pretty much turned into a dream and I was able to see again. So I went from an OBE to a dream. That's not the first time that's happened. But the not being able to see part really annoys me. And I don't know why but lately when I have OBEs all I want to do is fly into space. I hope I don't fly right into a black hole someday. That would be scary.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+UnplugTheMatrix lol. I would absolutely fly into a black hole for science. I am going to add that to my task list for when I get better at reaching space.
@unplugthematrix12
@unplugthematrix12 7 лет назад
One way that I have found that works really well is to go to bed with my iPad and watch something on Netflix until I fall sleep. That seems to help sometimes. I've had some crazy OBEs in the past few weeks. I've had a bunch of experiences in space. In one of them I flew into space and I looked down and I saw the world I was just standing on was flat. Then in another one I was on a spaceship and I looked out the window and there was a world below me that was flat but with a curved surface. At first I thought I was looking at a huge planet. But I was able to adjust the ships altitude with my mind and when I got up higher I could see all the way to the edge. So I landed the ship and got out and I was in a huge park like area with buildings, trees, lakes, and waterfalls. Then I had an experience where I was on a planet that was very close to a yellow star. It wasn't as bright as our sun is though. So I wanted to see if could change the color of the sun with my mind. And it worked I changed ti from yellow to red. Then I took off flying because I wanted to fly into space to see what this world looked like from high up. On my way I changed the sun back to being yellow. Next thing I know I'm floating in space and I see the sun and the (round) planets orbiting it. And they're tiny compared to me. So now I'm huge. So big I could reach out and grab the sun!. Then I had another experience where I'm outside of a solar system. I zoom into one of the (round) planets and there are ships coming and going from the surface. Then a few seconds later I'm on the surface and there is a city nearby and ships landing. So that's what I've been to up. If I haven't seen it all by now I'm not sure what's left. It's amazing how there are worlds out there that are both flat and round. I still don't know what the earth looks like from space because I don't project in the real time zone very often. But it's on my to do list. So have you ever had any experiences like this. If so please let me know.

Really? Why do you think that is? All you have to do is fly straight up really fast. I can usually get from the ground to space in about ten seconds. Also one thing I've noticed is that over there you don't create a sonic boom when you break the sound barrier. I wonder why that is? So what did you see on the moon?
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+UnplugTheMatrix I don't know why. Usually right when I am breaking through the atmosphere and everything is turning from blue to black, I lose momentum and fall back to earth, resulting in a return to my body. On the moon I saw these weird geometric structures. Hexagonal and octagonal. They were like buildings, but I would have had to crouch to go in, or they were partially under ground. They caught my attention because they looked very man-made.

Does it matter what you're watching/listening to? I feel like if something interested you more than a guided meditation, it would work better to watch that. I have felt that sensation you described, just once. I've never astral projected but I haven't tried very hard either. I woke up in sleep paralysis and was hallucinating noises that sounded like they were coming from the other room. Then I felt that sound and heard it but I didn't get to the vibrational state.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Lauren Hedges I selected a guided meditation because blue light from screens messes with the sleep chemicals in your brain and tricks it I to thinking it is not time to sleep according to what I have read, but honestly, not sure how much truth there is to that. Worth a try if you feel like experimenting.
@04dram04
@04dram04 7 лет назад
Also to answer your question, I feel the same pulses of energy before vibration stage. They feel very alien. Like Im strapped up to some alien spiritual device thats pumping energy into me. I feel it in my solar plexus. Also i feel a strong pulsating pressure in the back of my head where it meets my neck. I have never had an obe. I get scared every time I get to this stage. this is because I seem to be getting thrown through a black worm hole at what feels like about 10 G forces. But mostly because i get powerful muscle spasms. My hands curl up so hard, that it is very painful. And when I pull myself out of it, my hands are still spasming for about 5-10 min. I have never heard of this happening to other people. Any thoughts? thanks :)
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+04dram04 all the sensations I feel are non-physical. Any physical muscles movement will keep you tightly in your body. I think based in your description that relaxation is not deep enough for you. It sounds like there is physical muscle tension that you will need to let go of before you can separate. You just need to surrender to the experience and let it happen.

I notice you call the visual images “visual hallucinations” while I get what you mean, you should know that your mind doesn’t create anything you don’t already have in it. It may take things and mold them together for x amount of reasons, or it does it just to find order in thoughts and memories in general. The more you try and see the connections between your subconscious and conscious mind by deciphering these “hallucinations” the close the bond between the conscious mind and subconscious mind.

I had several in and outs (microsleep) once the meditation was complete, i removed my headphones and just rolled over and went to bed. I didnt hear any internal noises but sure enough i woke up in my hotel room but things were slightly diffrent and the rest was just an adventure. Its like i would return to this void state, and if i really push for something to manifest it would work. I really do appreciate you sharing all this information, is this still working for you?

Hey do you ever have dreamlike OBEs. It's been my experience that dreams and OBEs are the same it's just your level of awareness that determines which one you have. Well I had one last nigh. I was by a small town on the coast and there was a giant tidal wave headed for it. So I do what I usually do when I want to fly. I look up in the air and say to myself go up. Except it wasn't working this time. I kept saying it over and over again but I'm still on the ground. And the tidal wave is getting closer. Finally I say it one last time and I lift up off the ground. I look over and I see the tidal wave and it's almost here. So I'm like go faster go faster. I managed to clear the wave right before it hits me. The town wasn't so lucky though. I hovered in mid air for what seemed like hours waiting for the water to recede so I could land again. Finally it did and I dropped back to the ground. Everything was a wreck. There wasn't much left. Then I woke up. I experienced this as a dream but the way it felt when I was flying made it seem like an OBE. Also the color scheme made me think it was an OBE. It had a dark purple and blue color to everything. I don't know why but I've seen these colors a lot during OBEs especially at night. It's too bad I wasn't more awake. I would have let the tidal wave hit me just for the hell of it. After all I've done far crazier stuff during OBEs.
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+UnplugTheMatrix I am not sure. My OBEs are much different than my dreams or lucid dreams. That being said, I have had OBEs where I lack control or clarity if that makes sense.
@unplugthematrix12
@unplugthematrix12 7 лет назад
Yeah I've had the same thing. I've also had experience where I go from a regular dream to a super hyper real OBE. Then of course I've had dreams that were just bizarre images but that wasn't what this was. Then I've also had experiences where I use the WILD method for lucid dreaming and then from there wake up even more and upgrade it to an OBE And then I have had dreams where I would wake up enough to where I could realize it was an OBE but then I would start going back to sleep and it would become a regular dream again. And then of course I've had lots of your typical OBEs where I'm totally awake and aware the whole time. So for me sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between a dream and an OBE.

It is too unpleasant to take. Fortunately it is rare.

Phase Evolution with me the pressure/sound always seems to be moving upwards towards head so what I do is focus on chest or stomach to distribute the pressure till the trance breaks and I can wake up,I been dealing with sleep paralysis since I was 14,I am 37 now. I have projected in the past without this nasty state of noisy pressure,I think it maybe friction of the energy body separating or even just the awareness focused on the physical sh8fting from the course physical to the energy wave level that the non material conscious exist?I have managed to bypass this state purely through accident,I was in a state of deep relaxation and had the oldest thought of 'I hope I don't float out' at which I felt a tingling like bubbles inside of body and skin then lifted right up and was in a state of formless awareness moving around in what I would discribed as the real time zone,I mean I could overhear parents talking g etc.i can't seem to willfully replicate this tho mostly because I think the more we try and shift our awareness from physical the more we infact focus our awareness into the physical and maybe generating the very pressure we discribed with our exit techniques,phasing seems to be the model that fits my experience but haven't had the guts to pursue it regularly
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Joe show good theory. You may benefit from the indirect method or projection. That tends to have a lot less discomfort for me since you are going from an already incredibly relaxed, sleep like state to the OBE state rather than having to pass through all the barriers that come with inducing sleep paralysis and putting your body to sleep.

so your guided meditation worked for 14 days straight?
@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Eric Helfrich no, but it gave me many more experiences than the usual 1 or 2 a week. I now do something similar, but easier. I get up 3, put on a ramp timer which will wake me up over and over again during the following hour, essentially doing the same thing I was doing on my own with the meditations, then at the end of the hour, I take out my earbuds, roll onto my side, and begin sleep breathing and relaxing. From there it only takes a little phantom wiggling and the pulsating Energy kicks in and I am off. I have been doing that for a while now with results just as good and I don't need to try to maintain consciousness as I did with the meditation.

@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Liam Mcgoldrick The noise would bother me since I am used to wearing ear plugs, but if you don't have a hard time focusing with noise, maybe not. Now, if it is actually blowing on you, it will definitely make it harder. You need to disassociate yourself from your body and sensory deprivation is part of that. Feeling a breeze on your skin will make it hard to lose touch with your physical body.

@PhaseEvolution
@PhaseEvolution 7 лет назад
+Liam Mcgoldrick you could maybe use something like an alarm and just keep hitting snooze. The downside of that is that you have to press a button I am guessing instead of remaining completely still. Another option to limit movement would be to use something like a cheap kitchen timer that you set to go off in 5 or 8 minutes or whatever works for you then if you hold it and can reset it easily, that may work. I know Nicholas Newport started with that approach before moving to a digital timer.

+Phase Evolution it's unbelievably similar to how i had my first obe recently! I set alarm to 5am, woke up to it in the morn, put in my earphones and listened to this meditation m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E6vqStlbBJc.html Thru 40 mins of listening i was balancing between sleep and wake but no obe happened. How sad. Once the record finished i fell some disappointment, took off the earphones, rolled to my side and said oh well screw it then, i gotta at least catch the last hour of sleep now before the 7am alarm wakes me to go to work. So i roll on the side comfortably, shut my eyes to sleep and suddenly - to my total surprise! - i get the vibrant tingling from my toes up to the spine!!! and i immediately realize HERE WE GO!!))) So i said to myself, hey this is the Phase, therefore i am going to fly now. And i softly flew up to the ceiling and then had some delightfull experience of flying around the apartment and thru the wall to kids room to check them out. Boy this was mindblowing this whole stuff! I hope to have this repeated soon - working on it! Its interesting though that vibrations came when i gave up all my efforts that morning and was honestly expecting nothing to happen!

+Curiosity Boundless that is awesome! Crazy how that works isn't it? So many people try to OBE during a guided meditation. I wonder how many would be successful if they just make an attempt after it is over instead.

Interesting method. I'm curious to hear the other method also.
