Thanks! So the VUBL is designed for a belt and not a leg strap. I got thinking of the RGR-UBL that might work for you? It's not vertically adjustable like the VUBL and is only available for up to 2" belts, but it may work? www.copquest.com/safariland-rgr-ubl-low-ride-2-inch-ubl-with-qls-22_23-2470.htm
Yes, and it can rotate out of position. There are two sides of the square that have rails on them and they must align with the rails in order to slide on.
So it seems possible to (relatively quickly) disconnect the sliding mechanism and re-lock it to another VUBL adapter mounted on a different belt? (Point being, the use of a single QLS 22 and VUBL slider combo to swap between different belts) Is this feasible or would there not be enough room to move things around if the adapter is fixed to a belt? Also, do you think that removing and reapplying the locking mechanism too much would wear out the contacts on the belt adapter?
Appreciate you watching our video and reaching out! We haven't tried this ourselves, but we don't think there will be enough room and the belt would be in the way. We love saving people money, but in this case we think your best bet is a second $20 QLS22. www.copquest.com/safariland-qls-22-duty-receiver-plate_23-6320.htm
