How to audition Loops in Studio One

Thanks GB great stuff as always. Would love to see Studio One ramp up their loop search and tagging architecture. Taking the time to build your own .soundsets just to get more tagging options is a load and the hard coded set of existing tags in the Tag Pallet is pretty limiting. I understand the "baked in" nature of the loop metadata with db architecture of.soundsets, but just incase this is topic is on the board, consider this an upvote. As always, thanks for your endless enthusiasm and bottomless depth of knowledge for all things Studio One. I hope the transistion to Fender still aligns with your future plans.

when we finally can audition chords (without using PLAY) ??? I am waiting for this simply thing (which Ableton has for 10+ years) since I started using S1 2+ years ago. This is a must !

Another very useful video. What would be really neat in Studio One is if we were able to select multiple loops and audition them together all synced to song tempo. From memory I think you could do this in Cakewalk Sonar.

I have my audio set up to loop but I do not want my vocals to be looped as I have verses and choruses written out. How do I extract the vocals from the loop?

Recently switch to studio one but having problems, in FL studio when one know how to play C major key but want to play F major in C major, is there a way one can transpose C major to F major, whatever you playing on C major will turn to be F major. how to transpose c major key to another key in studio one 5

Hello! Make a determination of the tempo of the track as in FL Studio (Detect Tempo).

Can you audition something from Impact XT or Mai Tai? At least load it automatically somewhere when browsing on ATOM SQ and press a midi key to hear it.

I have been looking for a simple answer everywhere... hope someone will reply here. After the recent update of studio one. My Media browser doesn't recognize Rex2 files anymore. I noticed it can be shown in browser by adding as file type in options.... but still studio one won't recognize it as audio file and won't play as a loop. Is it a studio one bug or windows issue? 'coz I had fresh installation of windows prior to installation of new version.

Amount of Drive on drums = first thing in my mind is Distortion. You drive distortion on drums. What you actually did is layering a drum loop. I know what you mean. Make drums more driving. But the description is confusing. You layered a drum loop to make more complex beats.
