Why is my prospect ghosting me?
How often do you have a sales deal that goes cold and it slips or dies?
Why did they slip?
What strategies can we deploy to avoid it?
Many organisations tell be that 'do nothing' is their biggest competitor.
So I asked sales guru, Tony Hughes, how we can avoid this. This video is his answer.
Tony claims there are 4 reasons sales opportunities go cold or stall:
1. Lack of compelling commercial value
2. Lack of consensus within the buying organisation
3. Lack of alignment with the buyer's journey
4. An unpredictable event occurs like a company acquisition, new CEO or our champion resigns.
In this discussion he outlines what each of these mean, and what we should do to reduce the risk of them occurring.
Can you think of any reasons Tony has not listed?
And what strategies do you deploy to avoid deal stall.
