I am happy you mentioned the cold water. I just started doing cold showers 3 weeks ago after my jump rope workouts, and it really helps with recovery!

First few times jumping rope I had very sore calves. Takes a bit of time to get used to it.

4 months into jump rope but nothing has changed. I still get serious shint splints everytime i jump rope. I jump rope 4-5 times a week for 30 minutes. I stretch after workout. Otherwise, I'm thankful to jump rope dudes....love jumprope because of you guys😊.

shin splints everytime? do you stretch your shins specifically? ice, elevate or look at your shoes or getting a jump rope mat. If you're a beginner shin splints happen, but if you can skip 5 days a week for 30 mins you shouldn't experience this.

Perfect. My calves are killing me. Not enough water and I think footwear is important, like basketball sneakers which I don’t wear. So frustrating to have to stop because of sore calves.

Hey jrd It's Ramadan where we fast from sunrise to sunset can u recommend how our diet should be & can we eat some oily foods as 70% of my food contains fruits & some few exercise we can do in this month while we are fasting I really appreciate if u guys can

Watching this while having major ankle pains that are radiating to my knees. Of course I just started to jump rope a week ago, did it on a hard surface with improper form and weak ankles. 🙄 I just can't seem to stop myself from jumping to high and too hard.😐

The recommended warm-up is a little softer than the ones recommended in your other videos.

Hello I recently started to jump rope and it has been great but I am not sure if I overloaded my knee since I had acute pain in the iliotibial band, I stopped jumping for over a week and pain left but I want to see if it is normal sort of injury related to the activity or if has to do with my technique? I have deficiency of androgen because of Hypopituitarism, I started working out with since I started trt injections, I have body dysmorphia and fat accumulated on my belly, do you recommend rope skipping for losing weight,I have been working out for two months and haven't seen much changes

I think I get my soreness from being above 100 kg. But in the midst of the soreness and pain, I still do it like nothing's wrong. I need help jump rope masters.

how come I can naturally jump rope for 30 mins but only run for 5 mins? when i say naturally i don't mean i don't workout i just mean that i have not practiced running or jumping rope. thanks :)

Yes. I jump rope better than the average person and I weigh around 100kg Edit: we also have an advantage over other people as we progress faster. We progress quicker bcs while we getting stronger and fitter like everyone does we also losing weight therefore becoming lighter and making it easier :)
