The staying hydrated part is more important than you might think. I remember I used to shun drinking too many fluids at parks to avoid needing to pee while waiting in a line, and I would often pay the price of getting at least a little motion sick on pretty much anything beyond a slow moving dark ride. Whereas when I willed myself to drink lots of water & stay cool, I was usually able to ride even the bigger thrill rides & be mostly okay.

Thanks for another great video! Went to universal Florida a few weeks ago for the first time. For me it helps to not focus on the details on the screen. When I feel that the nausea is coming I close my eyes and try to see in my mind wich movement my body feels at that moment. But its true that everybody is different and you need to try what works best for you. I never do more than 2 or 3 rides like that a day. Also not doing those Motion attractions when I’m tired helps to enjoy my day. Keeping those rides for the end of the day could also be a good tip. The simpsons felt the worst for me (glad it was over😅) For fourbidden journey i didnt take the risk to ruin my last evening and took dramamine.

Jimmy Fallon Race Thru New York and Simpsons are terrible!! We were just there mid May and I had a gravol (Dramamine) every day about half an hour before we hit the parks and I was surprised at how much it helped!

You’ll definitely have to do a video for Disney rides as well. Flight of Passage reminds me of HP Forbidden Journey with the drops and dips. I’m not fan of sudden drops, but I take Dramamine and try to ride as many as rides as I can before eating. Totally agree with you on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. It just drops and spins the whole time. It’s an awesome ride but you will get dizzy. 😊

I find the best way to avoid motion sickness is planning out your day well. Mix up the rides. Don't go back to back motion rides. Made this mistake last year. Went in November with basically no lines so we did hulk spiderman and velecaraptor in about 30 min. Big mistake.

Great video. Luckily, I don't experience motion sickness but this video was still really useful and fun to watch. I have to say though, my favourite part was someone wearing a jersey of the football (soccer for you Americans🤣) team I support, Tottenham, walked past.🤣 5:03. Forbidden journey wrecked me last time I was at universal. It was worse than kumba at BGT and I can't ride kumba because of the motion sickness. Forbidden journey is a 10/10 on the nauseating scale

Real talk here! I also did the rookie mistakes on my very first day there of doing forbidden journey (getting fairly motion sick), then standing for ~70 minutes in the hot sun for Hagrids without a hat (very stupid I know but it was my first time ever being in Florida in July) and then almost blacking out when the motorbike did the reverse part. The rest of the day was fairly tainted by this. I tried to regain myself with some food in the JP visitor center but had to eat standing (no free tables) while feeling sick and then in the evening we got stuck in the King Kong que for an hour while hearing the witch screaming the same phrase over and over again, still feeling sick. Still loved my visit there and this July I will return prepared :)
