I recommend growing out your hair while it's in box braids or twists. This'll be better if you guys wanna start locs or if you aren't sure. You're welcome :)
I have had my locs for 28 yrs. I have assisted with locs since late 70's. In my opinion there is no ugly stage during the birthing stage. I try to educate individuals to understand the birthing stage is just that. It's a make or break stage mentally. Because it's the birthing stage who would call their baby ugly. This too is the most important part of the journey. No UGLY STAGE. Yep, that's my opinion enjoy the full journey. God is
Hey bro I had a question, so if I start off my LOC journey with dread extension adding extra hair while my hair is loccing, will that mess up the process?!
I've been on my loc journey for 7 months now. And I'm currently looking for a loctician who can crochet my locs to make them look a little more uniform. I have straight/wavy hair so it wasn't as easy for me to just braid it and leave it go I had to do the twist and rip method on my hair
