In this quick video we are going to show you a fast and easy way to bleed your motorcycle brakes. It's called back bleeding and it's a game changer. If you have ever been stuck pumping your brake fluid through the brake system from the master cylinder to the caliper in an attempt to remove an air bubble then on a motorcycle then you will know the pain that this easy trick will save you from. The problem is that the master cylinder pumps a very small amount of brake fluid at a time and it can take hours to remove all of the air out of the brake or clutch system. This is where back bleeding comes in. Just get a couple medical syringes and a piece of rubber hose. Open the bleeding nipple and attach the rubber hose. Insert the syringe into the rubber hose, pour in the brake fluid, and force brake fluid into the caliper, through the brake line and into the master cylinder. By doing this you will move a much higher volume of fluid through the system and force out any air bubbles without having to spend hours pumping.

In my experience BACK BLEEDING is the ultimate method to save time, money and sanity while getting optimum performance. Still shocked how many veterans do it the old school marathon way with gravity bleed.

After trying many methods to bleed my front brake line after air entered the system, this was the ONLY practical method that worked...many thanks!

Thank so much I just put a new line on and it's been 30 minutes trying to get the air out. Very little brake pressure and still alot of bubbles left. Going to try this tomorrow. Seems way easier the anything else I am trying

thanks for the video. My bike's brake fluid flush is long overdue, and I am thinking on using this method, just the other way around, mean sucking all the old fluid from the reservoir, topping it with fresh fluid, and sucking it from the caliper using a syringe and a hose... your method seems fine, but I fear pushing air into the system, my bike has ABS and I hear that if any air bubble make it into the ABS pump, pushing them out can be a pain in the a*se... what you reckon?

Spent 3 hours last night doing this and it just won’t build pressure. I know the lines and everything are fine too because it was such a strong brake before I had to slightly move the cable and I opened the banjo bolt a tiny bit and then the air screwed everything up. Idk why I can’t get pressure back now.

My back brakes on my Kx250f I changed the pads and now there not near as touchy? Any idea?

Did you change pad brad or material type? It can make a difference if you use ceramic and metallic pads. Also if you got any break fluid on the pads while you were changing them can effect it.

How did this work even though there was still old fluid up top?
@ExtremeSportsWannaBes
@ExtremeSportsWannaBes 2 года назад
This wasn't a fluid change, just a bleed operation to get air out. But, to change the fluid, you can do the same thing, but suction out the reservoir first.

Fucking love it! It's a beast 💪💪. I did the get ECU and fmf pipe and that helped get rid of the tame feeling they have stock. I'll have a 70 hour review and a pipe/ECU video coming out in a couple weeks.
