Great information. Great chose of mow. The only thing I suggest is to pre-clean the mower before displaying it in a video. Your doing sharpening maintenance, maintain the whole machine, I can guarantee it will add years to machine service live. I have a 1987 Craftsman II lawn tractor with a 44" deck that I still and just yesterday use to mow. Cleaning is key to seeing issues before failures, something that my grandfathers, father, and the USMC taught me. Think about camera angle so the use of your tooling can be seen. Remind folks that this process can be dangerous and cause a lot of damage to fingers in many different ways not just the cutting edge of blade. Thanks for the video!
Come on clean that thing before backslapping. I will say Trimmer has a nice way to adjust the reel, but man that mower is dirty and slow it down while back lapping
First thing I did this year was clean it then backlap. Yeah, I got a lot of crap for that on that video. I didn't know you had to go slow. I've seen repair shops use a pulley to backlap at really high speeds. I'm always learning. 👍
