I would like to instal the tiles in the kitchen as well however I'm not sure how to deal with my window. Your window has window trims installed on all four sides but my window only has the window trim at the bottom side so the left side, right side and the top side don't have window trim, so if Iwant to install the tiles inside the window, do I need to cut the drywall to make room for the tile installation?

If you had to run the tile around a frameless window without wrapping it around, how would you hide the cut edge of the tile? Would you caulk along that edge of the tile or maybe use a 1/2" piece of L-shaped bead trim? I don't know what to do.

Darn I literally just tiled my backsplash with the same exact tile. SMH I should have watched this first. It came out okay, I just would have liked to run the tile up the window that looks so clean.

Hard to tell in the video but what color was the Schluter trim that you used? Looks great, and way better than bull nose. Also is that just held on by mortar as well or is it screwed into the window framing?

we're going with marble-looking laminate as well but were told not to install backsplash directly onto laminate countertop, but to install a typical laminate backsplash with the tile installed above butting up to laminate backsplash edge rather than countertop. I can't see what the difference is. Did you caulk or put any type of seal to where backsplash meets countertop? or just grout?

What grit sanding block did you use?

Why is that not 33% offset as recommended??

What kind of countertop is it? Formica? Or Wilsonart? Stretta??

I'm a little confused why you cut 4" and 12" pieces for the ends when you could have just cut the 16" tile in half. Your way creates too many joints and more work. I've only done this once and not an expert by any means but for me I just don't like the look of those 4" tiles. Personal preference I suppose.
