I have a question my friend. When i back up my C drive and eventually the drive crashes how do i get my os and everything in the back up on the new drive that replaced old drive that crashed? Would i install a windows OS on the new drive then install Drive image xml and then restore through the D.I.Xml program that way ?
Good video but I need a bit more information. If I back up my operating system on my C:drive to an external hard drive (not USB), then how do I restore the image data from the external Hard drive onto a Brand New C:drive. TIA

I am just using this software to backup another Notebook. After progressing from 0 to 99% in 21minutes it stays at 99% for over an hour. The developers really have to work on the progressbar.
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Thanks to your video hot to create the backup is clear, unfortunately what I don't understand is how to take the backup and copy it to the new system. Suppose I have a new PC, with empty HDD. How should I copy the backup to continue running my backup-ed partition there? That is not so clear since the tool you use for creating the partition needs an operating system to run.
