These cupcakes are very simple to make. Perfect recipe for beginners.
Prep time- appx 20 mins
Baking time-26/28 mins
Oven temperature- 150 fan/170 degrees Celsius/ Gas 3
(Please note all ovens vary)
PLEASE NOTE-
BUTTER AND EGGS NEED TO BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE OR AT LEAST TAKEN OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR AN HOUR BEFORE USE.
MILK -TAKE OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR AT LEAST 10-15 MINS BEFORE USE
Ingredients-
Vanilla cupcakes
112.50g Salted butter
180g Caster sugar
2 Large eggs
155g Self raising flour
80ml Whole milk
1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Buttercream
110g Salted /unsalted butter
220g icing sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Food colour-Colour mill Taupe/Baby pink/Lavender
Piping tips - 1M/2A
METHOD-
Cream the butter for about 1 minute.
Add the sugar and continue to cream for another minute or 2
Add the eggs and slowly mix for a few seconds then add the flour in 2 batches with the milk/vanilla.
Fold with a silicone spoon then mix on low for a few seconds to combine the mixture.
Use an icecream scoop to add the batter to your cupcake cases.
Bake for 26-28 mins when a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
Let them cool then prepare the buttercream.
Mix the sugar butter and vanilla on medium speed.
Use piping tips to create your decorations
