Beautiful, I helped with a gender reveal recently and I did my first balloon garland and arch. I really enjoyed it. I think I can make a business out of it.
I will incorporate the 17" balloons in my clusters of 6. They give the garland so much more dimention and of course volume!! I am currently just using 11" clusters and creating the main garland and just adding on as needed...but I think I like your method much bettee
I am all for looking outside the box when it comes to balloon or other creations because just even a minor twist on let's say like your garland and making the bottom with smaller 5inch will set the garland apart from others. It is very refreshing to see someone take the initiative to educate creators on what they can do. That leads to them use their own talent and gets them more excited about what they put out there. Im very exhausted at seeing the same garlands made the same way and I am sure the public is also. Ideas that come from the creator of the garland is what will set them apart from all the pint rest y ... and online pics. Thank you for giving a fresh idea.

Thank you so much, this was so knowledgeable, i am one who has a hard time charging for my worth, i am not a pro at balloon garland, but i never done one that every person did not like, but i am not getting paid ,most what i do is going all the way. at the end i spend more than the little i charged

The Garland looks great, can i ask how may balloons were used for it? Also how do you stop command hooks from coming ringing off the wall. Do you put extra tape on. Continue the great creations 👌🏾
Good question! I don't count my balloon [I wrote my reason why in the description box]. I just focus on th how many bags I need and then build as I go. You can also use a stronger command hook and place painter's tape on the wall so it doesn't rip any paint. Hope this helps!

@@vurniswelsh6209 The amount of balloons that are bought with each bag depends on the brand. I believe Tuftex sells 100 ct of 11" balloons, 50 ct of 17" balloons, and 50 ct of 5" balloons [I bought one bag of each size & color...a total of 6 bags for both colors], and Kalisan sells 100 ct of 11" balloons and I had 2 of these bags.
😂 I'm crying because I would be the same way. But there's a vendor I go to get the marquees done. I have 2: one who uses foam boards and one who makes them out of wood.
I would love to see a video of how to expand the bottom of the balloon garland. Example like you did in thus video on the bottom right hand side of the garland.
My prices start at $500+ for 3 colors and 3 sizes for a 15-foot garland. Although this is 2 colors, I would still start at my minimum. However, my prices will be going up again because I'm moving toward the high-end clientele.
Placing them on a pipe & drape pole with weights on the stand will help. But I never guarantee my work with outdoor events because the weather can be unpredictable. I would add that as a clause to your contracts
My opinion is if you feel it is needed on a job just take a deposit on the items and or make a clause in the sales contract regarding damages .You are obviously going to be back to recover your things and as long as all is in good condition they get the deposit back. I am not sure if this is the norm with creators but maybe it will need to be your norm as props an so forth are not cheap. Thanks.
I always measure by bags of balloons and not the number. So I don’t count the balloons when I price my designs; I price based on the bags I need to create this design
I don’t usually give advice on this because this question involves legal answers. I would suggest investing in speaking with a lawyer or buying contract template from someone who sells templates.
They were from Hobby Lobby. So whatever flowers they sell, that’s the size they are. I didn’t use the giant flowers that they do sell. Only the average ones.
I have local balloon stores in my area. But that’s the case with you, you can order online from ToyWorld.com, balloons.online, balloonsdirect.com, and allAmericanballoons.com. There are way more suppliers nowadays so all you’ll have to do is go on Google and type in “balloon supplier” and you’ll see a bunch of wholesale sale balloon companies

I don’t count the balloons. I charge by the bags of balloons I use even if I still have them! Plus I take into account the size of the garland as well in order to know how many bags I need.
