Goes to show, teachers have a big impact on the atmosphere, and the atmosphere plays a big part in determining whether or not a kid wants to be there. I agree with Lazmedina. Maybe I wouldn't hate school if it had more teachers like you.
i wish i had this class in high school i didnt learn all this till collage by my self and youtube nice video hope to see more young generation into the diy electronic
for me, it was a $2 fix for a $50 pair of bluetooth headphones.. 1st time soldering... being 50-50 - or +, i got it wrong the first time, switch the wires and worked perfect. I can't even say where the soldering tool came from. was in a toolbox i had.. :). thanks
Thanks to this excellent video I was able to fix a set of entry level audiophile sony headphones by soldering in new headphone wires. Thumbs up for you guys!
I want to do a headset repair...the wires on the cup are soldered to a small circuit board looking piece...but there also is this gob of yellowish hard stuff...do you know what that is, how to remove it, and do i need to get some more for the fix?
my dad is quite good at it but ive never tried it my pioneer head set wire was tripped and now the left doesnt have a sound im tempted to do this but its hard houw shall i know which one is negative or posititve?
my headphones only works on one ear and i checked my speaker it was ok it wasnt disconnected so what do I do? Do I remove from their and put back again? or... I've been checking it like 5 times now so what do I do?
hey what id like to know is how to reconnect the little copper wires within the speaker itself or if thers a video tha shows that plz redirect me ,any ways thanx 4 ur tip
what a great teacher and nice school too bad i live in canada otherwise i wouid come there and all the students look like there not even intrested look like they falling asleep damn man thats some crazy shit .
One of my earphones isnt working but wen i twitch the wire at the actualy plug, it starts workin a bit. Dus that mean one of the wires has come loose at the plug?
That is the meaning of shouldering a headphone isn't it? moving the wire til the headphone works? its natural science. a friend of mine showed me how to do this but with a bigger headphone then the Ipod ones. I hope this video shows us what it is all about.
Strip back the wire to reveal both the inputs. It would be more complicated if the headphones are set up in a different way. Then take some sand paper and gently sand the two strips to reveal the copper shinny parts. I mean GENTLY. Then go do the steps he has shown.
i notice with ear phones, its the copper wire in the main wire thats broken. Not the bud it self. Your better off buying a new pair instead of fixing it.. unless it was expensive.
Interesting I only saw this AFTER melting the internal coil wire......... The speaker doesn't work at all. No resistance on the terminals. I wonder though to which terminals I should have soldered the wires, because my speaker has 4 terminals on it... Good video though. Good to know next time I try to fix speakers...
Extra terminals in a case if the headphones has a "one side connection". So it's wired from one ear (the main wire with an outer insulation) then the other wires goes through an arc (the part that fits headphones on a head) to the other ear. Then a driver needs at least three terminals. The fourth as I guess is for a mic.
The right polarity is easy: you just test it with a small battery. It must be pushed out when a voltage is ON. If it "sucks in" then the polarity is inversed. It's basics... And I'm not a teacher :)
i actually did this on school once but i dont know shit about it no more and i didnt found it important, imma probably fix my 50 euro earphones somewhere up in a store
Tried soldering and melted my fucking copper part. So frustrated and sad because I got them working and soldered but they were aligned incorrectly with the screw holes and I had to retry to get them in the correct spot and got frustrated and left it on a bit to long trying to solder and now I’m 90% sure I can’t repair them. :(
good example pair to use (since some better ones have the same wire setup... if you screw up your practice soldering and the headphones ... no big deal
