Oh what fun RSM is having in Jurasschic Park! She's been looking up the best way to bathe a chicken (or give her a nice pedicure soak to treat bumble foot) and now passes the wisdom on to you! You might need to bathe your chicken if their back end gets filthy, if they're suffering from a bumble foot, if they somehow get really dirty, or if they have a flesh wound and you need to clean out debris. REMEMBER RSM IS NOT A VET. RSM also doesn't condone just bathing your chicken if they're a bit dirty or because you want to, as a lot of times it's not necessary! As always, keeping it real and simple here with backyard chickens.
The bin that RSM uses (granted, which is a bit too big) is a Sterlite locking lid bin - 27 quart capacity, 16.5" long x 13" wide x 12.25" high. Affiliate link for the closest (cheap) thing we could find: amzn.to/3XBSL3z
