rio really is the goat, not only is he already established, he wants to help out the people starting out with all these videos and streams and putting in extra work for the benefit of others.
You seem to enjoy life and making music!! Much respect player! 48 years old 33 years of making beats and recording vocals! I love seeing all the young prods making money and changing the game!
I think being young definitely helped me , when you have less responsibilities and can still live off your parents you can put more time into your craft , when you have to work a job and pay bills you’re more tired , have less time to create etc , I think if you’re young definitely make the most of it and grind
The tips about taking time to make better beats and not comparing yourself to others are really important and something that i need to remind myself everyday, thanks for this Rio
I'd say once you are a rapper's producer as the right hand, that's when you can produce the song in a more complex beat because assuming you already have the vocals, you just throw stuff on top that fits instead of not having space at the beginning. Idk, just throwing this out there in case someone is always producing crazy beats
I'm from Russia. You're one of my favorite producers, I like your sound.I am very pleased that your thoughts are similar to mine, your video tells me that I am on the right track.Thank you🙏
Saying my beats aren’t the proplem when it comes to getting songs, even when I’m getting songs, but the problem being my networking is really helpful. I always knew I wasn’t active enough on getting myself out there but hearing it from Rio is just perfect.
Yo real shit, this is one of the best videos i've watched in a while when it comes to becoming a better version of yourself. Shoutout to you for helping the producing/music community. This video doesn't even just apply to music which is the best part, it really applies to everything regardless of what you decide to do in your life. This really helped me switch my mind up about a lot of things. Luv bro
Re;simple beats… I’ve been enjoying the process of downloading acapella verses from a bunch of different artists to test out how it feels with that energy. Can be super useful, and even fun to start a beat from scratch underneath those acapellas!
Halfway through the vid and you spitting straight facts 💯 ima implement as much of this knowledge as I can into my journey on me 🙏🏽 thanks for the awesome advice man
I saw u in another channel to learn beats and you nailed it, im 24 started learning from RU-vid videos taking notes on my notepad and i cant think about anything than reach my goals, i wake up and sleep with music in my mind i hope one day i can live with the money i made from it. In the lowest point of your life you need to think whats the point of living and dont do what you love
Dropping gems fr! 🔥 I think it’s also important to make sure that you are genuinely passionate about producing. It can take several years to start making money and connections with music and if you don’t genuinely love it you will just end up giving up after a year or two!
Hey man, I’m trying to learn how to do beats the only thing that’s holding me back is music theory don’t know too much music theory I’m new at this. What’s the best advice that you have
bro i actually fw that type of Rio's videos. Realy good and important advices from advanced producer in this game! Can't wait for the next episodes of this topic:D Luv Rio>
I made my first beat in 2018 and this month i just started making beats everyday. I would go months without making anything because i didnt want it. I want this now.
Rio, this pretty serious. You really helped me here. I was bout to go insane, I was as you say "in the race". I was in a negative feedback loop, I felt I was behind that my mixing sucked, that my melodies was too generic. But as you say "it's a journey" that fucking helped alot just that.
My takeaway from this aside from the useful tips is just the fact you gotta want to work to get where you want to be. Rio you clearly love the grind and we appreciate what you give to the community brotha
that simplicity in the layers bit is something i came to realize recently. most of my best beats are complex but im grinding out way more / better beats these past couple weeks by just keeping them simple and catchy. thats rly the key to a lot of things. simple but memorable 💯 u goated for this vid.
For the dm question,I think everyone of us thinks that I am chosen one,but for Rio for Nick, you guys are all similar to each other, there is no one kind of specail type if you are not the same level compare with them.
Thanks again for your amazing words of inspiration. I do feel so much closer than i Iwas before but I still have more to go. Ur the Goat for real. See you at the top!!!
Thank you bro for sharing this. At the age of 47 I definitely feel like i have no chance ( you young guys are running it ) i just stick with it and create for the love of music.
Needed this tbh. Like I be scared to reach out to certain people so I don’t seem like I’m looking for a handout or being annoying. But I feel like now it’s really fucking me up because networking is obviously a huge part of coming up. Plus the mutuals thing got me feeling a little better too, cause I’m fortunate enough to have them🙏🏼
Thank you rio , I have learned new tips from this video fr ❤🔥💯pls talk about what to do when your samples get placed and how to go about collecting your share, would really appreciate if you add that to pt 2. Thanks .
Had to sub, just had to. Stay positive, keep it comin with the production tips, and keep BEING YOU. That's something I'm still trying to do to this day.
thanks bro fr ! I'm in LA too heavy on the networking part! I just been locked in the crib grinding trying to find the balance again and got out put myself out there !
