WARNING BEFORE USING THE DEFYN PROMO CODE: If you plaster the SKILL ISSUE decals on your planes using all 4 slots u get with premium account/ the distinction thingy, the decal's immense power will react to the enemy's skill issue and make them disintegrate in front of you without you doing anything. While it was fun the first few times, this hurt my SL and RP gain so much that i had to take it off after my 12th match with it where it happened to two different guys back-to-back. Tested on the SU25 with 4 plastered over the wings.

One thing I noticed about the F4U-1C when I was flying it in GRB was that its energy just. vanishes. when you start looping continually without much time between loops - especially when you start dipping down in the vicinity of 500m alt, aroundabout where the first and second stage superchargers switch. Definitely an altitude to avoid fighting at for too long.

This is scary good. Meanwhile I'm sitting 200 meters behind a plane for 2 minutes watching my bullets disappear into the back of plane without a Hit notification. Then my plane drops out of the sky & reappears in an inverted stall 2 meters from the ground. Somebody 6km away gets credited for the kill. You're doing great work on this channel, great info & explanations!

I would say that this is probably one of the most helpful videos you've made yet. There were a ton of great examples on how to fly defensively, particularly against planes that compress at a lower speed than you do. I just wanted to say keep up the great content, and I'll keep enjoying them!

This was a really great tutorial. One thing that goes unsaid, at least for me. Until I could fly almost instinctively, all the tactical advice in the world didn’t really help. I needed to get to the stage where I wasn’t thinking about my radiators, my best speed and all the other little admin-y things I now just ‘do’. I’ll never be a great pilot, I’m too old and my eyesight is too poor but I do regularly have fun and more than balance my deaths with 2 or more kills on average. That’s another point - on average, you should have a 1:1 KD. But thanks to noobs, bomber flyers and non serious players, if you take it seriously you can do better.

Might I suggest F4F-4? It would be somewhat topical, with its engine power (or lack thereof). Or F4F-3, but I won't ask you to inflict 2.3 BR teams on yourself. Now that I think about it, it might actually be a pretty good plane to practice this sort of play style, since the enemies are a bit more "forgiving".

the thing about usa birds is the climb by the time you get to altitude either your team is dead and you're the last one or the other team has one left af camping that's the way it goes..

This is too convenient. I had just finished researching the F4U-1C last night an-Wait.. Stock grind on a vehicle thats stock spaded...

The F4U-C is one of those planes that have shit performance but for some reason or another just work and can get the job done. It's either the engine, cannons or wing design that carries it from being a trash plane to a decent one.

The Fact that you went with the Corsair instead of the Hunter makes me want to Smash my Skull into the wall… I‘ve been asking waaay longer than him 😂 Jokes aside, congrats on the 60k man, you more than deserve it!

Thanks man. Great advice, I will keep that in mind. I think I was playing too passive because I thought I needed to set up energy traps more carefully, but yeah that has hurt me in the long run. The American 20 mils I thought I always had to go for though, seem to be more like shotguns, but maybe that has to do with you eliting your crews first and already having 5/5 Weapon Maintenance? I have tons of tier 4 stuff to spade, it is so expensive as well. Will be looking forward to the Jets one too, I have most jets through about 8.0 for US and Ger and stock seems especially hard, and before I know it I need to go credit grind and don't tough the plane for a year. lol

The difference between F4U-1a and F4U-1c’s BR is 2. The difference between F-86F and F-100D’s is 0.3.

I love the 1C. Despite its "slower" speed, it can still outrun almost anything. Yes it climbs slow, but that's it's only real disadvantage. You can just take head on after head on because it's essentially a more maneuverable P-47 as it packs a huge punch. In comparison to the F4U-4B, it compresses even less (probably cuz it just doesn't go as quick 💀), so booming and zooming gets that much more effective. But yeah I generally start side climbing, go make food or something and come back 10 minutes later and check if my team is dead yet or not. If they're alive I keep playing and pop off. If it's like a 10v1 I run back with my tail between my legs and live another day. Yes I'm a noob and a rat but I LOVE IT. Finally, the repair cost-reward multipler on this plane is fairly good. You break even with just one kill and one death

I may have missed it but did they nerf Corsairs? I used to get an easy 6-700kmh in a dive, used to be able to open flaps at higher speeds etc. Something changed in the last couple months since I took my USMC Corsair out last. And of course congrats on the subs man you’re easily one of the best WT RU-vidrs.

Totally agree with playing aggressive when stock until you spade the plane. I like to take off and stay low and make a bee line to the enemy spawn then use that speed to head on 1 or 2 enemys and then die and repeat. They tend to all dive on me anyway and I'll get atleast 1 kill and the enemy team all go lemming trying to dive on you

It’s so sad that German 20mm default belts suck so hard because the Incendiary shells are basically the same or worse as 12.7mm API 😑 Even if you hit fuel tanks, they might just do nothing.

The F4U-1C is the best evidence of how much .50 cals underperform. F4U-1C and F4U-1D are the exact same plane, the only difference is that the F4U-1C has 20mms while the F4U-1D has .50 cals. F4U-1C: 4.7 F4U-1D: 3.3

The F4U-1C in RG is a beast even at 5.0-6.3ish

Anyone trying to spade a prop the best way in my opinion is to target the ai planes because you get alot of rp I had no kills but 2700 mission score and I was 1st on my team even tho a guy had 3 kills and he was second

I always thought that the sword with red background was your logo so I was surprised that you kept talking about not having a decal until resent. Can you tell me about the decal with the sword? Man they have made the F4U-1c bad, that was one of the best climbing and fastest aircraft of WWII and out-performed zeros that weighted a lot less than it did, and to see it struggle this much makes me sad
