I feel like there are so few DST content creators so I’m so happy to have found the one guy consistently making videos of this quality, thank you for existing and scratching the itch nobody else does
It's definitely one of the harder games to make content on. A lot of the game is about exploration which means most of the gameplay will be travelling around, which isn't exactly the most exciting. Plus with how long a normal challenge or playthrough can take, it's better as a player experience than a viewer experience.
Really happy to see this. I felt so powerful once I unlocked the full spear for the first time... really amazing seeing it in the hands of a master. Couldn't agree more with the ultimate conclusion too. Maybe Wolfgang still beats her out for sheer simplicity and unconditional DPS, but her actual gameplay w/ the spear charge is unmatched in the fun category. And all of this set to Mystical Ninja tracks and FamilyJules covers to boot!
The fact that make wigfird most dmg is she can use infinite crown and dmg But wolfgang cant cuz of the sanity drain! 😞 But i still like wolfgang and wx the most
Finally, I've been looking for a DST fix since Joescmocoolstuff disappeared 7 years ago. There are still some great speedrunners out there but he had some invaluable commentary that I have missed.
Haven't played the game properly for years, this is like you're speaking a different language haha I feel like without watching guides and reading the wiki I would never have a chance of working any of this out so this was really helpful! A lot to relearn! Really cool video the charged spear seems really nice, crazy how quickly you beat all of these

y'know I've been wondering this, wouldn't enlightened crown also be free damage for wendy aswell since being on a beefalo still lets you get its effect and you dont need a specific armor with wendy anyway you will still need sanity food ofc but besides that it would be free damage

Great video as always, keep it up Man! I have a question, do you use any mods to see beefalo lifes or timer to buck you off ? I always watch your guides and i can't understand how your know when and when note is going yo buck you
no he doesn’t. He knows when the beefalo is close to dead because the screen will turn red and your character will say something indicating it’s low on hp. The buck timer is because he’s used to beefaloes and just knows roughly how long it should take.
Wigfrid strength was not in having the best DPS but being the most sustainable fighter. Her healing health and sanity as well as cheap armour lets her walk into anything with just some gold and come out healed. If your so good you never get it thats average but for a lot of the player base thats a big deal. Now though, she has that and this crazy ceiling.
@@anotherguy3709 please...when was the last time you played vanilla DS? The game hasn't been an uncompromising survival game in a decade 😂. Add to the fact that how many players do you know who even make it past deer clops? For those of us inbetween speed runners and noobs it's nice to have access to the cool perks of the character sooner rather than later. How many players have even gotten to crab king ?? And how about rift weapons? You don't even have go beat cc to get wormwood or Wolfgang (of all characters) to their max potential.
so jakeyosaurus did this thing too and i was exactly the same strategy and everything i dont know who did this first but i think jakey is blatatly copying as he does he just used your starategy with no saying that you came up with this (obviously not everything ) i just wanted to say this so it came up to your attention btw rly good video
