Hey Bri! Longterm follower here! In regards to why people follow people they supposedly don’t like and obsess over what they are doing instead of minding their own business, I think a lot of the hateful comments we see on the internet is because many people don’t love themselves. Angry people are angry with themselves and will be impatient and angry with others. People who are unhappy with themselves will punish other people so that other person can feel their unhappiness. People’s emotions drive their behaviors and it’s truly just a reflection of how they feel about their self. People who are in love with themselves will find love in others. People who are happy with themselves will find something that they can connect with and see a part of someone that they can enjoy and be happy for too. Just wanted to share my thoughts because I never take it personal and instead just have compassion for those people. Keep doing you and don’t let them give you the ick because it’s simply a reflection of the love they have for themselves. 💕

Bri, I love your channel, I became a subscriber years ago because of how simple you are! Not too much into trends and just knowing what your personal style is and looking put together! I myself am not into wigs as well (it looks nice here and there but sometimes it can be a bit of a hassle when maintaining it especially when you’re extremely active. I admire people wear wigs to the gym because the sweat under my scalp has me itching and scratching! I always have my hair in a bun as well it’s just easier and just fits my very active lifestyle…..Please do not change your content you will always remain relevant to us so far as you be true to yourself! “Being that girl” is not just about surface level beauty or working on only the outside but it’s more about your spiritual, your character making sure you possess a certain essence that’s unique and rentable. It’s about unapologetically being yourself, taking accountability and recognizing your faults when you do go wrong. Being educated, intelligent and well rounded individual with a positive attitude and demeanor. It’s important to touch on that because regardless of how beautiful a person may appear on the outside if they don’t have a positive aura or attitude and is personable and smart. No one realistically is going to want to employ or be around them. Beauty is skin deep.

Girl, I feel you. I created a routine for myself during the month of January ..I slipped out of routine for a few days …. It’s taken me almost an entire week to get back into my rhythm. I’m unbalanced now. Hot yoga, boxing, home life, work, dog mom, spiritual journey, sister, friend-whew! My life flows when I’m balanced. My routine motivates my eating habits. Hey Bri! I’m glad to see you back! God is so good! I’m more than happy that you’ve been doing well! I can very much testify on the part where you mentioned feeling like it’s good for us women looking put together more times than not! I’ve been working from home for about 4 months now and 99% of the time my hair is barely done if any! I’m wearing PJ’s or bummy clothes and I can really tell and feel how it can put me down a lot of times when I look in the mirror! Some of us actually do want to look good and at the least, decent, everyday! Not everybody does and I get that completely. Do you friend!! But there are some of us who do and I personally didn’t know that I cared about that stuff until a month ago when I started to get sick and tired of this pajama and undone hair 95% of the time look. This is just a form of self care honestly and this is one of my preferred ones now. One day I’d like to put some effort into light fresh makeup but we’ll start with the other 2 for now! So I’ve been saving money and I purchased a large order online for some cute but still comfortable outfits (I love sets too a LOT!) and now I’m going to give away almost all of my other at home clothes to people in need and I’m just so happy about this refresh. I hope this also may encourage others that if you’re feeling this same way too, it’s OK! It’s not in vain to look good or want to look good, honestly and truly. This is coming from a woman of God who leads a ministry. It can become vain if you’re doing it for the wrong reasons though 🙏🏼❤️
