This is the only Bloodtinge Build Guide you will ever need. Learn how to be OP and DESTROY EVERYTHING in Bloodborne. Happy Hoonting.
This guide covers the location of Chikage, Threaded Cane, Evelyn, Madaras Whistle, and the most optimal route to them. I also use the Clinic Skip and Nightmare Frontier Skip, so be warned.

The hardest part of running bloodtinge is getting your first bloodtinge weapon. For me, its the chikage, which means fighting logarius asap. You handled him like a pro and showed the power of the madara whistle. Well done! Edit: I'm aware chalice dungeons makes it very very easy to get a bloodtinge weapon, however i don't pay for ps plus and therefore have to do things the hard way.

you can also get the chikage easily from chlice dungeons with a certain glyph and instead of getting a bunch of stuff to sell get the glyph cummmfpk and go into the hall before it widens and wait after the opponent ho bar goes down you get 83k blood echoes and use a bold hunters mark to reset it and then you can buy more bold marks and then farm for echoes and level bloodtinge to 99 and skill to 50 and vitality to 50 in maybe an hour

So besides the whistle at the start (which only seems particularly effective- maybe -in the early game) the rest is 50 bloodtinge + Evelyn and Chikage for you standard Bloodtinge build. Really nice music choices XD

My build was similar, but I made sure to kill Simon early on. His weapon (Simon's bow blade) has an S scaling in bloodtinge and is actually really strong. I'm surprised you didn't go for it when you went into the DLC.

It may not seem like it, but I find lone survivor to be the best starting origin for this build as it has the least amount of wasted stats. Aside that, great video!

Fantastic work. I've been through Bloodborne about ten times now, but Bloodtinge is the one challenge I haven't taken on. With Elden Ring right around the corner, I might as well fire up the PS4 again and hunt my way through Yharnam with my snake friend and my weeb sword. Thanks for the guide. That werewolf gate skip into the Forbidden Woods early was worth a watch all on its own. Everything else was just gravy.

Love this video, nice to see the the madaras whistle get some love. Funny enough it scales all the way up to 99 bloodtinge like the other tools do for arcane. I am telling you at 99 bloodtinge that snake deals 3000 easy per summon.

The Madara whistle is great, but the other thing to do to get strong.... You know you can do chalice, right? There is a chalice to get chikage early, and shit ton of blood echo too, even perfect gems for chikage, all you need to do is to kill bloodstarved-beast. Way faster and way easier.

Yeah I understand. I normally try to avoid Chalices during my videos because I could quite easily just farm a few False Depths and over level myself. I wouldn't normally even use skips but I wanted to see how the Whistle performed at the start of the game.

@@Gakusangi No, all you need is the glyph names. But it only really gets worth it when you go all the way into depth 5 for quality gems

The most broken thing that I did with bloodtinge was with Simons Bow Blade, it just 1-2 shots in PvP and the Chikage was on PvE the boss killer, for mobs Simon's proofed for long runs better, with the right gems everything is possible but the grind is uff.... very boring and hard to do even with high discovery

Most likely an external recorder directly getting the input from game's resolution and probably even upscaling it too. Ps4's recording software is just very choppy at times and between cuts

I use an Elgato HD60s+ Capture Card and OBS on my PC as the capture software. I have a beefy CPU so I use CRF 15 as the Bitrate Control. Videos take up a shit ton of space but the quality is mint because CRF automatically adjusts the bitrate. As for my style, practice practice practice practice.

i did not get the glitch to forbidden woods sadly (wolf didn't do a crit even when i had my back turned) but this got me to do bloodtinge build (and other videos) regardless. will use chalices though since psplus was only a euro this month which funny enough i think happens to be the euro i had when i bought the game more the half a year ago and till a week ago i mainly played offline (no chalices)

From what I've heard, it depends on if your going Skill or Strength. Skill for the Chikage, Strength for the Bloodletter. Personally leaning towards skill myself, but it's up to you too.

A good way to do this is to use the forbidden woods to grind, then kill the bloodstarved beast, then use chalice codes to get uncanny and lost reiterpallasches, rifle spears, and chikages.

Would it be possible to do a Strenght + Bloodtinge only build? I mean, it's a glass cannon, but i think it could work at bl120 or so. Anyway, if you're going for max level, then of course it is possible. Edit: For the hunter in Byrgenwerth, step on the stairs, and then hide behind them. Believe me, it works. She goes up and then looks at the chest. Doing this will allow you to use the whistle more properly and get a second chance when she gets up. Also, it would be useful to actually upgrade your weapons, whichever you're using. Edit 2: My god... What if you used the gatling to attack from big distance? Or the cannon, or the church cannon... Bloodtinge has many possibilities...

For my first play throughs, I’ve avoided the chalice dungeons and DLC. It sounds like some builds just aren’t worth it if all you want is to experience the storyline. 🤷‍♀️ Is this kind of stuff only worth doing for BL 100/150 pvp, or NG+ runs?
