@@makeyyyy7890 I feel sorry for everyone. Not only in Russia and Ukraine, in all countries where there is a “special military operation”. Yes, we see this symbol.
Thank you for speaking slowly, it helps me learn. :-) Do you speak any English? I haven't visited Russian people, but when I was in middle school (8th grade, 13 years old) my family welcomed and hosted a Russian exchange student from Protvino. I remember his name from 25 years ago, but I can't find him because I can't search in Cyrillic. I love your channel and just subscribed. You seem like a very lovely, patient woman that enjoys teaching. Thank you very much! I've always loved the Russian culture and my family is in the US now (Daytona Beach, Florida), but we came from Belarus and I don't know any of the culture we left behind. Thankfully the internet allows us to easily connect with people and learn the culture (I know Belarus isn't the same exact culture, but I think there are some similar things). I wish to make these connections again and learn about the area I'm truly from. Anyway, I love your channel. You have great charisma and a very warm personality! Thank you for your lessons, I hope to visit Russia someday! I pray the tensions go away. I love the culture and the people!
Thank you so much for such a kind message. It made my day. ☺️ Maybe I will find some people from Belarus and make video about differences in our cultures. ☺️ If I can help you to find that Russian person which you are talking about I will be very glad. Do you know how to write his name in English?
@@IloveRussian I do! I'm not 100% sure I remember his patronymic (?) name (middle name) but I remember his first and last name. I'm going to try to find a way to message you directly, because he may not want his name randomly appearing on RU-vid! Thank you so much, you made my day too, and I'm glad that the smile I had when I was writing this made it all the way across the world to you!
@@IloveRussian I found that you have a Telegram channel and chat group, and I've joined both, but I can't find a way to send a message directly to you. I don't want my old exchange student's information shown to the people. What do you recommend?
@@IloveRussian How very generous you are to take such trouble for a complete stranger. It shows in your eyes actually. You know, I grew up during the Cold War and we were fed the impression that all Russians were dark-hearted people, sitting in their hovels plotting the destruction of the 'free world' (ha!) over their samovars. And then we became friends and learned the truth. And now we're not again, which is such a shame. And in all my life I only ever met one Russian. She was a checkout operator in an English supermarket, and when I guessed her nationality from her accent, she patted my hand and said 'Good boy.' I'm actually an old man. Good to have the opportunity to talk to you. Good luck in all your endeavours.
