Rule for DS 1 and 2 from what I remembered. 1. Min Max the protagonist so either have a magic or physical build(no balance). 2 (1). If you have a magic then holy dance is your best friend. Slightly less mp than megidolan. Attack multiple times. Cancer when with dual shadow. 2(2). Holy dance work differently in the two game. In the first game holy dance 2-5 attack is random in how many time it hits. While in the second game is set(less on chance) so one enemy will be hit twice always no matter what. while three enemies will always be hit the five or four times. 3. Dual shadow and blitzkrieg is your best friend. 4. Alway fuse even for your demons have good abilities because even three lvls under can cause problems. Lvls 10 agidye =lvls 20 agi(for example and analogy). that all I can remember.
Fuck, I just started the game and I splitted magic and strenght a bit on my mc (8 magic and 13 physical, level 13) , I guess it's not too late to go full physical but hey
holy dance is less inconsistent if you have high agi. If you want a true magic nuke, go high mag and decent agility, vit when you need and of course 10? strength to use almighty skills (i recommend getting the 10 strength at the start of the game because mag isn’t that good early game). Holy dance is significantly better than using megido, the damage output is nearly twice. Having dual shadow with something like blitzkrieg makes you do immense damage late game. There are times when you hit twice yes, but there will be more times where you hit 3-5 times which more than makes up for it. (most bosses are single target anyway) however using a weakness when available is better but usually late game bosses dont have a weakness, this is because you can combine an elemental dance with elemental amp. A good example is belberith in devil survivor 1. Hes weak to force. great video tho a lot of this is good advice for beginners.
What i do is have 2 main characters, with most skills and best current demons, and use 1 or 2 just for support/healing. Also i always had 1 character just spamming mute
Which The Best way to make a demon focused in one only atk status, for example, i need to boost my mag demon merging he With other, but i want this demon With more mag than before, What i do? Mag Plus mag? And if i run out of possibilities?
So I have ADHD and its really difficult for me to understand what you are saying when the background music is at the same volume, and if not, higher that your voice volume. Still thanks for the pointers I just got the gamw for 3DS.
@@petrock4041 what about on the eshop? DeSu Overclocked adds 8th days to Yuzu,Amane and Naoya's routes, an easy mode and voice acting. DeSu 2 RB adds an entire new storyline and voice acting
@@tanyasellars7492 I bought most of the SMT games on the eShop and my SD Card end up getting corrupted. Y'know, with games that can take up plenty of my free time. ;-; What I'm saying, physical copies are better.
