1:48 "you're just gonna do a super-glide" the way he said it as if people can just casually do superglide under pressure while implementing this tech beforehand HAHAHAHA. Jokes aside, great video
Wait a sec, Tree just helped me realize exactly WHY mantle jumps are possible. Yes, mantles reset your location to being "on ground", but you still need to be in the air to super jump after. Which never made sense to me, I just rolled with it. *Coyote Time* "Coyote time" is why it works. The fact that there is a byproduct of the game's movement mechanics allowing you to jump within that frame window after leaving contact with the ground. I never connected the two. I have a problem with having to know WHY things work and not just HOW so this really helped me. Thanks Treeree
2:22 I think you can also mantle cancel on these small objects from a crouch position. Altough you are in the risk of sliding backwards after you cancel and want to go back into crouch. But if you time in correctly it seems you can do it also pretty consistently.
I've watched gruic and monkey and you sir make me wanna learn how to move more than the both of them especially since you showed me movement tech specifically for best girl.
the downside is your crosshair moves and high chance you miss a target like that, if you wanna prefer tape on your monitor and write a dot marker or Crosshair X.
Lmao step 1: Mantle Cancel (super easy) step 2: superglide into a 180 tap strafe (arguably several degrees of magnitude harder than mantle canceling) sorry, but the escalation of movement complexity/ difficulty with a difference of one step is just lowkey hilarious to me and I have no clue why.
as a 9 -5 worker , this is the type of enemies i get every lobby im on. im really bad varely got into diamond i almost every season just playing 1 hr, and even if i like the movement this shit too much lol
So technically you can do it as high ad you can climb. There's a mokeysniper video on it but you need an exact angle and I bet in a few months people will be able to do it every time and you can shoot while climbing. Hope this helps ❤
that requires you to look at a weird 44.5 degree angle, nobody will consistent do that, plus you're gonna have to looks weird off center then back to the enemy
Have you tried these with the sentinel yet? I was practicing that in the firing range the other day and its hard having to ads really quickly while doing it but once you get it down its nice. I was consistently hitting a target about 50m away while mantling lol
“When they push, you’re just gonna do a super glide” okay buddy easier said than done. I try and try and try and get like 1 out of 20. I stg the ppl that do it every time are using cfg files
Most people have. Movement like tap strafing and wall bouncing are not that hard to pull off but they are not obvious either. You don't stumble upon them. It requires specific key binding that are not that natural to make them easier to hit. If you play with default keybinds (like most do unfortunately), then most movement tech are out of the question. You do need to dedicate some time to it just to learn them and THEN, once you get them down, you still need to practice quite a bit to make then useful in real combat situation.
@@LtKregorov movement is like that though in most games, too. Some will emphasize movement heavily but the hidden mechanics that really elevate the gameplay are not always intended by the developers. Source games are notorious for this and major franchises also tend to have them. COD for example
would it be possible to use the no Mo climbs and wall bouncing that monkey sniper showed of to were when you clime at like 45-44.5 degrees you keep your weapon out for bigger walls? (dont know how practical it would be but was just curious)
1:48 I tried learning how to superglide but it seems near impossible to pull off consistently. Is there even a way to do it 90%+ of the time? Or should I just give up on it?
I've seen preds use this for a while now but I don't get how they seem less affected by the aim pull/lock during the mantle, any tips on that or ways around it?
Now apex: Switch from space bar to wheel button to jump. Wall jump spams like an asian, adjust sensivity to best, run with peacekeeper and r99 meta... and I pass. Can't enjoy the game no more without seeing everybody try to be the perfect player
