What helped me with ranked anxiety is realizing elo doesn’t really matter. What really matters is your skill and how you’re getting better. Also, if you were able to reach a peak elo once then you can get it again

adding to this, as the thing that causes rage is loosing, always think about this, if you lose to someone at any rank, then you should improve not to rank up, but to beat who made you loose, if you figure out how to beat every scenario that you lost to, then you will be able to rank up, i know he says that in the video but this is a bit more clear

3:15 The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.

Losing doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an imperfection of a craft. It simply means you lost. “It’s just a game” only refers to how you handle a loss/bad mental. It doesn’t mean stop trying at all to improve at the game. A loss shouldn’t be taken as a sign to never play again. It means that whatever your opponent did was something that you couldn’t counter. And that is why losses are so important and it’s better to learn how to take a loss. Winning against people who just started the game doesn’t make you any better

I dont ever get tilted when playing, I'm not exactly sure how it works, I only ever get tilted when my internet becomes dogshit and I lose games because of it, but since I havent played ranked in ages, a lot of people have come up with new tech that I'm unfamiliar with so I have to spend a couple hours every day just playing ranked to get used to new playstyles

It's because you got nervous. Trust me brawlhalla is not an easy game , if you get nervous you are gonna be trash in the game and everybody will be able to win against you. Also don't forget how being a overpopulated game, a lot of people play ranked and that makes much harder raising up elo and for the same reason elo doesn't really metter so much because there isn't so much difference between a gold or a plat, it just gets slightly better from rank to rank

I swear mental is the ONLY thing that holds me back from getting vallhallan cause ik I have the skill and the confidence to do so. I peaked 2400 last season it’s just ego that is very hard for me to drop and I don’t know why. I’ve tried but I just hate losing but it’s takes time. I even had Atrophius tell me to keep grinding and didn’t know why I stopped

I stopped caring ranked as competitive and just being a fair matchmaking mode to troll with. I lose way more but it's funny when I win because I do funny stuff like unarmed only. It takes the opponent like 20 seconds into the match so far to realize I willing choose to not use weapons (that include items most of the times) and just brawl, and they decide to fight me as unarmed too lol. I won most of these, few occasions I lost or the opponent used sigs and weapons against me but I still came close most of the times as fun in Rank.

I’ve broken over 5 controllers cause of brawlhalla,I just hit gold last ranked season and I know ima stay in for a while like most people,but I get mad cause I’m always versus plats,WHILE IN GOLD 2 1450 elo Now if I was at my peak of 1600 I understand BUT GOLD 2??? AND THEN SIG SPAMMERS ARE SO DAMN ANNOYING.Despite all this I still find it as my favorite game Last thing I’ve quited brawlhalla over 10 times in less than 6 months and I always come back to after a couple of days

There's something about platform fighters that makes me want to drive my head up the wall. I had my rage moments with this, Smash, and MultiVersus. But Nickelodeon ASB was a surprisingly chill experience when I played it.

when your spamming dodge or trying to fast fall and IT NEVER WORKS i get the right to be mad. im pressing dodge faster than f1 cars 0-60 and it wont let me

Mashing dodge isn’t the proper technique for dodging, if you want to dodge effectively, you need to time it correctly and press dodge once on the correct frame. It’s difficult, but it works a lot better than mashing

@@TrippedUp i only do it that way against weapons i know like the back of my hand ex: katars, but it has no effect because no matter which way i dodge they will follow up and if i dont dodge im going to have a lot of damage buildup. thaanks for the video and respone man!

Don’t think about it as losing what you earned, think of it as the skill that you gained while playing. Elo fluctuates but your skill remains
