I'm glad it worked for you! Bloodhounds step was my default ash of war back at the start of Elden ring before it got a heavy nerf, but it's still good for those attacks that are still just a little too obnoxious to dodge.

You need the respective Whetblade - for flame-art and fire it's the "Red-Hot Whetblade" which you can find in the castle in Caelid back in the base game. Just google "Red Hot Whetblade". You'll also need the Bloodhounds step ash of war obviously which you can also search.

It's seriously difficult - I could probably only do it like 30% of the time with acute focus - the window in which you can safely roll normally is bloody tiny. Moving sideways as he charges then rolling diagonally into him seemed the most consistent but honestly just use bloodhounds step. The extra 3 IFrames and further distance trivialises it

If you're still struggling to dodge the charges etc. use a Greatshield build which are a bit cheesy but they work - something similar to my Video on the last boss (don't want to spoil if you aren't up to the last boss yet). Use Veridgras Greatshield (fully upgraded) and a spear or thrusting sword with bleed. Add the greatshield talisman and anything to increase stamina then just block everything.
