As someone who read Sweet Home on Webtoon the sprinter monsters weakness was after each sprint the sprinter monster would glow, for roughly 8 seconds he would be immobile. They did end up killing it using a wire trap as I recall, but it has been a while since I least read it.

Btw in the original webtoon, It's explained how people turned these monsters. Basically, a virus comes from space messes with the brain, and turns you into what you want the most, If you want to be fast, you turn into a fast monster. If you want to be strong you become a big monster etc. And yes If you do not want to be a monster, It does work and you won't turn to anything but become super strong by the virus (This is what happens to the main character in the webtoon)

I also really, REALLY hate the ending. In the book, at the end the protagonist embraces becoming a monster, he still maintains his self control but completely transforms, with his wish (as all monsters have a wish granted to them) being to kill the monster before him, so his first transformation isn't an edgy wing, but his arm becoming a lance, like a knight, mimicking his spear he always used. He slowly transforms until he looks like a fleshy knight of sorts with a dark hood. In the end, everyone escapes. They start a camp somewhere else, and in the end the protagonist returns to them transformed. Many monsters eventually reaching a full circle on their metamorphosis and becoming an evolved human of sort. One that's purged of sin, purged of desire, and often forget who they once were. Our protagonist even after his full metamorphosis back into a human seems to remember his companions, and finds them once more many years later.

Swordsman is the real gamer. He waited his entire life to use that sword.

Actually, you don't need a knife to efficently stun the drunk monster. A simple hard palm to the ear is extremely effective, it can even rupture an eardrum.

The show is good, but they change a lot of elements from the comic. I really recommend anyone who liked the show give it a read as well. I don't think the show will end the same as the comic since it has already taken a very different course and has two more seasons coming, but they both have qualities that make it worth experiencing each one.

In the first monster scene I think throwing another noodle packet down the hall would have made a noise you could use to distract the monsters. I’m probably missing something but it would give you some time to quietly find a hiding place while the monster is distracted and if your lucky (or unlucky) the sound could attract another monster leading to one killing the other thus which ever one survives will most likely be injured and exhausted thus allowing you to flee the area.

There's actually one way to beat all of them... I know i'm late but, Y'know shotgun boy? It's the prequel of sweet home where it explains how the curse developed and become how it is in sweet home. The venom that was developed to kill every monsters in sweet home was developed in shotgun boy that was the venom used by the main character in shotgun boy to eliminate every monsters even the A-tier ones with high IQ and has self control. The venom is currently in possession by the military tho, if they want to get one of that they have to infiltrate the place where zero(zero is what the lab calls as gods right-hand man) was experimented on. The lab is currently disguised as a kid's candy shop it's located near the retreat camp where everything started in shotgun boy even way before. If they want to get in there they need the help of eunhyuk's friend gyuhwan the main character of shotgun boy. Gyuhwan is also associated with zero, the person who started everything. The curse all of it. Gyuhwan also inherited some of zero's powers and abilities that's why he can control some to a certain extent but not enough powerful to be able to control the monsters, only eunhyuk and hyun su can do that, because they already developed into those monsters they were called "ubermensch" those three needs to be a team, although it seems impossible tho with the second zero lurking around. And eunhyuk also in the webtoon declared that since he's now a "monster" he will side with the "monsters" and by the time they meet again. Eunhyuk declared that by the next time they meet. They meet as enemies. Not companions. Not acquintances. But since the drama is slightly different from the webtoon considering how much differences they had i don't think eunhyuk will come back sadly in the s2 drama but i do hope since i want gyuhwan and him to meet again. I do hope gyuhwan would team up with hyun su tho they will make a pretty good team considering the experiences they had being almost the exact same. They can relate and sympathyze with each other. Also the reason why the internet is unavailable was because of zero, if zero is awake the internet won't work because of the intensity that he gives off when he's awake. but when he's asleep, the internet will come back again.
