How to beat FNaF 4 - Night 8 Walkthrough | FNaF Academy 

I have never once played FNAF 4, and thanks to your videos, I beat the entire game in less than 24 hours. All 8 nights. Keep doing what you do. Not to mention, I beat night 8 in 2 tries.

Fnaf 4 4/20 list (nightmare) _______________________________________________________________ -As soon as nightmares footsteps stop run to the door and make sure his footsteps did stop so he can't run to other side. -Dont shine light because it wastes a fraction of a second and sometimes thats too much. -When he stops he either arrives at the door in a second or half a second. -If its the ladder the tiniest slip up will spell death. -As soon as you hear him run away from the door retreat back to the center of the room and wait for him to stop again. repeat:^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ -But when you hear a laugh is where its tricky, if you suspect a fake laugh run up to the door you last heard him at and shine the flashlight. -If hes there close the door and if hes not run back to the center and check the bed. If hes not their either spam click the closet and hope you can close it in time. Dont use the flashlight or hesitate at all and if your lucky you might still be able to clutch it. -Unlike night 7 you only wanna shine the light if you recently heard nightmare laugh and need to tell if its real or fake otherwise it wastes precious time.

Had all kinds of trouble with Nightmare after attempting for close to two hours. Gave up and decided to get some rest to clear the mind. Beat it first try today! Amazing guide! It would not have been possible for me without it.

I used to constantly move while Nightmare is moving, because I thought that he can kill you if you stay still for a while. After watching this guide, I know realized that he only kills you if you hold a door shut for too long.

So I beat this right after I watched your guide. Not really planning on doing challenges but happy to get all 4 OG stars, thanks so much for helping. My mistake, was the fact I would wait until all 4 steps of Bonnie and Chica had walked before checking again. Knowing I could check as soon as I heard footsteps from this video and the movement guide was really really really helpful, helped me stay on my toes and even keep foxy out of the room all night. Anyways sorry to ramble, but really these are great guides, please keep doing them.

I was never able to beat nights 7 and 8 on mobile, and I was kind of afraid I wouldn't still be able to beat them after I got a decent computer, but you explained everything so neatly, and were soo detailed ab how to keep Foxy out, that i made it through night 7 on two tries, and night 8 on five tries or so, all in the same day. This night is just annoying. I’ve only got to 2AM and it’s mainly because of Bonnie and chica leaving and coming back. Because then I have to spend more time at the doors and Freddy and foxy have more time to get me. I haven’t even gotten close to 4AM yet. It’s funny how I can beat night 7 on my first try but I struggle way more on night 8.

I honestly love watching guides for fnaf games. I like seeing other peoples strategies for this, seeing how they’re able to beat it. For some reason, night 5 6 and 7 nightmare/fredbear were. Sometimes I’d accidently run away from a door and still able to save it.

I just beat it using the door strategy after so long the issues is the second nightmare leaves the door you also have to leave as he’s so unforgiven if you take a mili second longer also the ‘where’s that darn fox?’ Strategy between 12-4 am works amazingly as I got to nightmare 4/5 runs so thank you for the tips and I can’t wait to see your sister location vid 😊

4:34 this is exactly what I came for. And there’s a REALLY helpful tip for nightmare on night 8. Explained by another RU-vidr “Thebones5”. He says that every 10 second interval Nightmare has a 10% chance to do a fake laugh. So if you hear a laugh that’s not on a 10 second interval, the laugh is likely to be real. So when you go to the nightmare part, a timer is heavily recommended.

Thanks this helped me beat Night 7 I never even beat Night 1 in 7 years now I beat 7 Nights in 5 days I haven't attempted Night 8 yet because of how annoying 12AM to 4AM on Night 7 was Foxy IS A PAIN 4AM to 6AM only took 4 attempts I just had to get use to Nightmare's speed I will do Night 8 after I beat Sister Location and maybe Pizza Sim after that I can go back and focus on all the MAX 20 MODES 1 by 1 with 4/20 on FNaF 1 already done

thank you for your guide you are awesome! on my winning run, nightmare straight up didnt laugh at all. something that also kind of helped was some other audio cues that arent really though about, such as the animatronics footstps while i was in the middle of the room, but also chica in the kitchen meant that i could just flash the right hall and go straight to foxy. now i need to go do all the max modes of every game... not excited for sl and ucn

Nightmare is never at either door for me lol, the only time I've gotten to 5am was when I first played it with no knowledge, can only get to 4am because nightmare gives almost no time and wants to bully me, unlike night 7 I wasn't stuck on it for too long but night 8 increased the difficulty by what felt like x3 because of how often they move (remembering the time I died to nightmare bonnie on night 2 within the first 20 seconds) but I'll try this strategy later and probably need to rewatch a few times to get all the info I can into my head lol, subbing rn btw

I never once shined my light on nightmare because the first half was a pain in the butt, so i wasnt taking any risks. It surely made it a lot more scary, but i did it with relative ease. Thanks.

I have a question, its not about the strategy, but what is your process of familiarizing yourself with the mechanics of each fnaf game, and just finding something that works? Is there a lot of trial and error involved, or alalysis? Or both? The fact that you know all the ins and outs of each game is impressive as hell, keep up the awesome work!

I died within 5 seconds of the night ending for no reason. Literally he ran to the left from the right and it took me all of 4-5 seconds to get to the other side of the room and closed the door instantly. Game over.

Honestly from 12am-4am i find it easier to prioritise foxy and using door bed door method as i never have any time to get to the closet but for nightmare he keeps getting me even though i only click flashlight and have insta door method too

But I tried to beat it the second time and for some weird reason nightmare was just very unforgiving and killed me through the door no matter how fast I was but I guess it dose not matter sense I already beat it but it was just something I wanted to point out.

There is nothing more frustrating than finally making it to 4am after a few attempts and dying to nightmare when you react as fast as possible, I think I shine the light too much out of fear that I’m wrong about the door he’s at

Thanks for the guide was able to get to 4AM on 4/20 but the issue I have is the breathing sometimes I hear clear breathing right as I come up to the door and other times I wait a few seconds don’t hear breathing I shine the light and then I’m dead

I'm ready for doing this night ( I have completed the others ) but I have some questions : 1- if I well understand, I must to wait 3 seconds until I'll flashlight, If I don't hear breathings, right ? 2- If foxy or nightmare go into the closet, I do not to have to flash them ? I can immediately close the closet? and 3- Are you sure about the fact of the freddles are less faster than foxy? because in your gamplay, it's seem to be very difficult to check them after foxy, the timing is very close... Thank you Ambience. Using your strategies I was (finally) able to beat 4/20 nightmare mode. To me FNAF 4’s version of 4/20 was *much* harder than FNAF 1’s. Nightmare’s RNG and unforgiving nature made him *much* harder to deal with than Freddy on FNAF 1’s 4/20 mode

So, I've used all your tips, not sure how many apply though because im playing the mobile port. The closest ive gotten was 5 am because Nightmare keeps getting me even if i close the door. If nightmares at a door, and your at another door running to the center of the room, will you die if you close it instantly? And can you use only the door closing and no light technique?

It helps at the start of each night to set a 6 minute timer on your phone to know how much time u have

Dude 1 year later and your video saved my ass 😂. I would shut the door and he would go away, but the second he left I would die. (I was doing what you described as the Night 7 strategy) Edit: he has killed me through the door 9 times now, at least I’m getting to 4AM more consistently

Hey, ambience, your guides are amazing. They've helped me beat fnaf 2 & 3 with ease. I'm currently on this night, it's honestly pretty easy. However, I am running into a problem I can't see anyone else has. Whenever 5am hits, Nightmare will aways run to the left door, and then I make it in a very reasonable time. I shut the door, then I die. I play on a tablet, I've looked it up and it sounds like Nintendo switch users also have this bug. I don't know what to do, I've lost like 7 runs to this. Your help would be appreciated!

I close the door on the side that nightmare is on but he doesnt leave and just kills me a few seconds later when i have the door shut. Im moving as fast as i can too. Can you help?

Ok so on this night, nightmare gives you 8 seconds when he stops moving before killing you. When I hear his footsteps stop, I instantly run to the door and close it, this takes about 3-3.5 seconds. And yet, he still decides to go through the damn door and kill me. And btw, something that happened alot for some reason, I close the door, I hear his footsteps meaning he left, and I still die right after.

I almost beat this night. i had a timer on my phone. 1 second left till the night was over and got jumpscared by nightmare till this day i can't get past nightmare.

Im working on a video titled "I Beat Every FNaF Max Mode" and was wondering what i should include for fnaf 4? i already have the game 100% with everything recorded but idk whats the hardest since i kinda got pretty lucky and lots of the challenges (i was thinking the blind insta foxy mad freddy night but with my 20/20/20/20 mode win in the corner so its not just empty gameplay lmao)

Funny story, i was using your strategy and then at 2am, my game froze. I noticed that despite the game freezing, the time changed from 2am to 3am. So i basically just sat there looking at the clock going all the way to 6am with me doing nothing.

With this strat I beat this mode in like 5 tries i got really lucky foxy didn't come to my closet the whole night and the nightmare section was very easy Time to do the challenges.

I have been trying to beat this for around 20 attempts and I am so confused and would like you to answer some of my questions about nightmare, first of all, 90% percent of the time I get to 4am easily thanks to your strat but nightmare keeps killing me and I tested it out on housemap by being as fast as I could be and died about instantly, I tested one being a little slower and made it longer, can you did to nightmare for being too fast?

Do you know how long bonnie and chica (or her cupcake) have to kill you if you don’t check on them for a while. I keep dying to cupcake or bonnie in room since I check the other door, the closet and then the bed

I don’t know if this was a glitch but foxy got in my room in my closet, but after a few moments he wasn’t in my room no more. The reason I know this is because when I went to Check on Bonnie and all of a sudden I hear foxy foot steps running to chica hallway. I quickly ran to the closet to see if foxy is still in the closet but he wasn’t. So I don’t know I was lucky or it was a glitch because I did saw foxy in my closet but and left so I don’t know wtf happen.
