A quick boss guide on how to Beat Magista, Tyrant of Slacktide in Another Crab's Treasure. This is the hardest boss we faced so far and what makes it challenging is it has a strong mid range weapon. Parrying will be our friend for this fight as it is very clear when to use the parry. There's some attacks that you can pair you multiple times, but the timing is more challenging on them, but you can mostly dodge away from those attacks that I cover in this video. If you follow the strategies in this video, you will take her down eventually.

I hate that stupid whip attack that pulls you in. I keep losing because of that and its such a pain to dodge

I might have to play other souls like just to give me an easier time with this because I literally couldn't beat her until I started partying all of her attacks, this video helped alot

This is my first souls-like game. I died nearly a hundred times. I had to activate the assist mode, otherwise I would have quit the game.

What a challenge! I gave up on parrying halfway through and dodged towards her when she attacked, worked for her tea ball moves like a charm. Thanks for the tips. You youtubers make it look so dang easy lol

Playing this on Switch and her stupid grab attack keeps glitching and she just spins with you inside it indefinitely and there's nothing you can do except restart the game and avoid that attack entirely!

The difficulty for me in this boss is the tiny Arena. The camera keeps glitching out of the walls or i get stuck on the pillars and stuff when evading. Also she got me in her teaball twice and kept stuck spinning glitched out i had to close the application. Not hard boss. Just annoying AF

me personally like to use the coconut shell and whenever she uses the vomit attack that pushes her away, I use the shell umami attack to close distance

I think my game is bugged, she keeps throwing the unblockable attack over and over and no matter what i do i get caught in it. Its almost the only attack she makes and it catches me no matter what range im at
