I was going to say, I am so so grateful to have been brought NARP at around the point if discard, otherwise I don't think I would have made it this far. Coming home to myself is absolutely everything and I have no fear about the legal/material stuff now. However, the timing of this is divinely perfect as I am engaging a lawyer next week so... 😃👍 Unless we are faced with this excrutiatingly painful challenge where we meet it head on, go inward and let go of what doesn't serve, im not sure we will navigate the things well, no matter how much information we have. However, I am very very grateful to you both for all your work ♡ Thank you...
Thank you soooo much ... I've found this extremely interesting & helpful. I'm currently in the 22nd month of a divorce with my narcissist husband of over 23 years of marriage / hell. Yes, the gas lighting continues despite the legal order of 'no direct communication' which he regularly flouts. Yes, he's tried to trash my legal team verbally & in emails that I've forwarded on to my legal team ... ( they now KNOW what they're dealing with ). Yes, he's backed off on several things that he initially offered at the start of the divorce ... promises broken leaving me with further financial burdens. Huge thanks to Rebecca for the S.L.A.Y programme .... my battle continues ... but thank you both.
My attorney and I kicked butt in court. He was shocked. He demanded a jury of his peers, he is a salesman, and thought he could defeat me. But I had recorded him bragging to me that he could talk anybody into anything. Boom. He lost.

I wish I had seen this before I filed & settled, but I know that energetically I could not have received it then. This attorney is fantastic & her advice when divorcing a narcissist excellent. What I am able to learn from & apply at this time is the recommendation on how to respond to his emails about the kids. This is where I still get emotionally triggered & lured into the most inane backs-and-forth. I jotted down her 3-point response template (10:30-11:30) & look forward to the opportunity to implement it. Thank you as always, Melanie!
A great share! 👌🏼wasn’t gonna watch, thinking it wasn’t relevant, glad I changed my mind. Thanks for the advice , I will look further at yours & Rebecca’s links, etc too. The only thing I didn’t agree with was Rebecca saying that QFH & Mel’s informations on toxic relationships would be valuable ‘after’ the divorce process. After working with NARP I know how well it helped me to un-jumble my ‘scrambled egg’ mind, & start to feel confident & assertive in myself again, to even be capable of taking any action, make smart choices or even trusting myself to do so in a calm & clear response, so I believe QFH would be a great tool to use throughout the divorce process or any other challenges.

Mel has a module to work with within her NARP program that specifically focuses on releasing & healing the fear of the narc & whatever they could do next, & another that focuses on ‘releasing & healing the need to win’ that I think would would help (as well as the rest of the program) people to cope amazingly & maintain their composure throughout the Mumbo-Jumbo of divorce with a person like that. I can’t recommend her program enough- I am amazed that it really does shift all the traumatic feelings & concerns out, & as soon as I change the way I am feeling inside- the outside situation changes accordingly also, as Mel says ‘so within- so without’.. I wouldn’t have believed it was possible if I hadn’t put it to the test myself & seen evidence of results. Best of luck to you Peter 🤞🏼

It was so different to everything else I’d ever been taught about coping with traumas, & to start with I had a hard time facing the challenge & avoided the work until I was desperate for relief. So glad I stuck it out now! I worked the course start to finish at first, but now I use it randomly as needed & know I’ll use the QFH process for the rest of my life whenever necessary.

Heading to trial after 2 years on court with my narcissistic husband. Everything you said they would say or do, he has. His behavior in court and the outrageously vile emails he sends my lawyer and the court is unbelievable. I just want peace for my son and me and to live our lives. My 15 yo son had cut off all contact with his dad, what he says to my son is incomprehensible.
Yes I agree they intimidate, although the narcissist in me and my sons life does it without speaking those intentional intimidation’s, if we don’t say or do something or don’t do something, then here comes the paybacks, or withdrawals of or disgusting lies to others about us. And his retribution is done in an underhanded way so as he does not look bad and just puts us both down. It’s so hurtful we don’t want to be around him but we are trying to be financially independent and it’s not easy for a disabled mother and young son. He even never has a legal home address and avoids all legally served papers. Then he lies to all authority and only accepts cash for his business. Then he falsely claims my son as a dependent. He gets away with everything as he is especially got skills for wearing that Victim and nice guy mask. He’s from another country too. I have tried all the ways possible to get him away, but I am only pacified by responses of can I prove this or that? And it’s a never ending game. How do I even try to get him deported if he can wiggle out of all illegal activity?

Can anything be done after the divorce? - (for those of us who were ignorant of what you know?) This is an experienced and very careful Covert Narcissist. Early in the marriage, "bullying" became emotional and physical abuse, extortion, and more. After 3 (of eventually 7 therapists / Counselors), I told her that I would not stay married to her if she continued to abuse me. She replied (in 2003) "If you Ever try to divorce me, I will take everything you have!". After learning that I would not hit her back, she escalated the emotional attacks, to drive me out of our home for days to weeks. As my health declined, I could never feel safe in my home. When I did file, she claimed I had abandoned her and my home. Even though that was demonstrably false, and backed up with documentation, my attorney advised me NOT to go before the “unpredictable” judge AND NOT to rebut her lies.. I’m still within the 5 year “look back”, but cannot find an attorney who will even try to challenge the lies. I am pretty sure I’m not her first target and she is not the only person to use this plan.
I used to work in a law library when I was going to university in San Francisco. Guess what department? Divorce Law. There was a lot of downtime so I read a lot. Whoa. Probably the reason I never married. I still believe in the institution but to speak 15-60k in a divorce? I would have to marry someone with a LOT more than me to lose.
I'm 45 yrs in with this Narc, I can say that he will gaslight me to a certain level & then The Script flips, he does 🙃 and should fear my tired of it a$$
My ex- had me arrested & attempted to lock me in a psych ward. prior to my filing for divorce. Then he bought all of my attorneys and the psychiatrist to deem me as the narc. Afterward love bombed our kids & took them away from me. I pray that God will restore my relationship with my kids before he destroys them. ****Be Very Cautious****Love Peace & Blessings❤
Sound similar like my story! I was put in psych ward for a week during pregnancy and now use that against me as "emotionally unstable" and recently almost got me arrested but karma came back to him. He got order of protection and violated the OP and got arrested. He's been served in front of the judge when he tried to get order of protection against me
@@Layla-hg4ux You can turn the psych ward around & tell the judge that you needed a break from him. Stress on a pregnant woman and the unborn child is not in the best interest of the child. Maybe you could get away for a little bit. Blessings & Love 💞💞💞Stay safe💞💞💞
@@taffylove6193 you're right! That was exactly what I said to the person who put me in the hospital. I wanted a day break from him bcos I didn't feel safe being with him I may harm myself due to overly stress being in the house with him. He abandoned me physically and emotionally and expected me to take care of the other 2 children while being pregnant!! But there was no such thing of 1 day break at the hospital (which I never experienced this before) an d ended up for 5 days (I fought to leave the place while he watched me doing all the work). Cruel and cold!!

I've been no contact for 10 months. Now I have to face him in a video case conference. Typically used for people self representing. He's a sheriff working in family court and he's getting lots of free legal advise his best friend is a judge. I want to say no . 17 yrs there were no conversations that ended in with a conclusion. Why waste my time. How do I educate my lawyer.?

Love this video. I sent out paid for recorded delivery divorce papers there sat in the office for weeks. When my N did go to pick them up he asked me for money cause he had to pay a tax to pick the parcel up.I called DHL it was lies. Anything to keep some form of control.

Does he have a pension? Hidden assets? Did he sign property or money over to someone to avoid having to disclose assets? Talk to your lawyer; don't assume he's being truthful.
My attorney had every check he'd cashed. Pretended he wasn't earning by not depositing much. Proved he was committing perjury. He didn't expect that. I knew the business and was able to go online and get info that made the jury hate him for lying. Lol don't give up. Id been with mine 30 years. Tell your attorney to research every local bank for his hidden accounts.

Mine TOLD me she wanted a dissolution and would be fair. I was served with an AT FAULT accusation of abuse and neglect. She wants full custody and wants to FORCE me to sell our house to a third party when I already have a mortgage that buys her out at her request.. Gee, imagine my shock and horror
