I found your channel after I have been studying trying to start my bookkeeping business. I currently work in the IT industry and spend most of my time in front of the computer with not that much time spent on work. So I’m starting this to supplement income and hopefully build it to where it’s my only income. You’re a great inspiration and I will continue to watch your videos. I was wondering if you had a course for just sales and marketing. I’ve already gotten my quickbooks pro advisor certification and taken accounting 1 & 2 in college along with multiple fundamental bookkeeping courses. I’m looking for one specifically focused on sales and marketing.

I just did a search and your channel came up. I completed a "course" in the past week, spent about $100 only to learn that the host's "mentorship" program to get all the insider info is just under 5 grand....really? After I spent what I did and yes, I got some info, took notes, etc., but of course he didn't reveal the actual mentorship amount til almost the end of the class. You might be able to guess who he is, but I'll keep it to myself. I'm glad I found your channel. I don't know if I'll be able to do this, but I truly think I'd be able to since after a while it becomes repetitive and l learn by doing always. I'm intermediate with comps, I had to learn working in multiple windows on ONE screen way back in 2004 so comps don't make me nervous...just the learning curve as usual, then It's all good. Thanks for what you are doing to help.

I have basic accounting principles down, took a couple bookkeeping certification courses and I still feel so anxious to get my first client. Do you have any tips or resources of how to work with someone who is more seasoned? If you already have a video on that pls point me in that direction. Contact some local CPA firms. My wife is always looking for book keepers for her clients. I've heard her say a person can make a good living as a book keeper if they're good. I've also heard her say GOOD book keepers are hard to find and when she does, they get paid accordingly and CPAs will get you clients. Just take a lot of pride in what you do and in your work.

10:40 Welp. I guess I'm not cut out for it. If there was a "make the same mistake in a slightly different way 12,000 times, not understand that is my own fault, become upset and blame it on God or some other villain, and then try the same thing again while fooling myself into believing I'm doing something different by changing some minor details and rebranding it, go all in thinking this time it will be different" business, I would monopolize the market within a week!
