Ever wondered how to become a CNA instructor? Heard the term train the trainer? Here I will break down what that term means to you and the different options you have in trying to become a CNA instructor. Remember every state is different so always find out who your program coordinator is, email them and figure out which method you need to go about.

Omg thank God for your videos! I am 22 and a CNA at a hospital. I’m going to school for nursing (4yrs). I love what I do as a Cna. My plan is to become a CNA instructor and work as a Nurse in the future. But mannnn, opening a CNA school sounds better! I love it. Thank you for educating me!

Hello All, I have a question about how to find your states program coordinator. I have learned that to find any information about how to start a CNA program in your state it is best to google the following. " Nurse aid training program application" and add your states name. This should yield contact info for your states program director. Please note each states may name then something different like " headmaster" or "Nurse Aid coordinator" etc.

In PA, LPNs can be the Trainer and Instructor but must be supervised by a RN.

Thank you! It is a federal law that all CNA instructors have to be a nurse. In some states, CNA's can be supplemental instructors. We have all state requirements on our website. thesecretcocktail.com/cna-school-consulting-state-requirements/

My wife is in CNA school and wants to become a telemetry medical surgical nurse. We have discussed business ideas and I believe that this would be a great one for her/us . Can you use a MD or Soc. Worker for ur coordinator for ur CNA school and LVN are the instructors? Also can we train in different nursing homes for clinical, if our students r bonded and the facility agrees?

Great questions. Only RNs can can coordinate per the federal government. Also yes you can have multiple clinical contracts.
