Girl I neeed this!! My biggest goal for 2024 is to become a flight attendant❤ I'm a 19 year old girl who always wanted to travel and I love languages so I see being a flight attendant as a perfect opportunity for me✨ I am aware of the fact that it will take lots of time but I am ready to tackle this goal☺️
19 and love traveling and meeting new people so I feel like this would be the best opportunity for me . Good luck to everyone trying to become a flight attendant and thank you Charli for this video ❤️!!!
Charli.... couldn't help but sincerely appreciate the tender moment as you remembered receiving your wings. You're right: those memories are "what life is about". Good luck in 2024 as we all look forward to you flying again.
Hi! I'm going to my F2F on Wednesday with a major US airline. I feel very blessed to be invited! What I've been told by many people, "Be yourself." "Mix and mingle". Use the STAR method. This airline gives the CJO on the spot.
Love the content!! I am starting my FA application journey. I am seeking a career change. FA has been in my interest in the past. Now that my son will be graduating soon. I am ready!🎉❤ Let's see how this goes this year!❤
Well done ! Thanks for your service in the AF. I'm retired AF and living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I know you've been in SF because I've watched a lot of your videos. Good luck to you and stay safe !
I watched your previous videos and it helped me get a job as an LOD for your same major US airline. I really hope we fly together one day. You are amazing!!
Thanks so much. I work for the same carrier as you. Your videos helped me greatly while I was going through the application, interview, and initial qualification process. I appreciate you.
Hello there Charli. I just wanted to stop by and thank you once again for your channel. I followed you and watched many of your videos which helped me get me to my CJO. I have now been flying for 5 months and I love it. I am currently on a trip in Seoul Korea! I also started my own RU-vid channel documenting my journey. I have a new video coming out tomorrow where I mention your channel and how it helped me. Thank you once again for everything! Have a wonderful 2024. -ValenciaFlyer
Thank you so much for this video. Currently a healthcare administrator working in Revenue Cycle and I am just over healthcare, I have always wanted to be a flight attendant since I was like 12 years old 😅. And I am ready to make the transition. I am nervous but excited for this journey. 🎉 And for anyone thinking if making the same move I wish you all the best as well! ❤
I'm so thankful I came across your videos. I'm 37 years old and I live in a small city in Alabama. And I have herniated discs in my back and I can't do certain jobs that I used to do in the past. It's really best that I don't go around lifting heavy objects. And it's great if a job is willing to offer accommodations for someone that has herniated discs so they can be able to avoid any heavy lifting if possible. It doesn't mean that we still can do a wide variety of things and perform great on the job but it does present some concerns because I deal with pains in my back on a regular basis. I usually can stand up for far longer periods than I can sitting down. And I decided to try going a different path than the one-on-one. So I've went back to school and have been studying for my GED for several months now. I've been so lost and trying to figure out what it is that I meant to do. I have experience in customer service and I used to co-own a consignment shop. And I worked in grocery stores and worked customer service desk and did Western Union sending money nationally and internationally. And although I do have issues with advanced math due to having discalcula, I don't have it as bad as some people do who have trouble counting money and stuff like that. I mainly struggle when it comes to very advanced math. And so I never thought I could handle college. Though I do know there are several people you have this dyscalcula and struggle in math get accommodations and tutoring in college and some of them like my friend went on to become an English teacher and she retired and is living quite well with her husband. But she said that math was always really hard on her. And she failed her math and then had to retake it again and passed with a c. So I know it's possible for people who have struggles like I do with other advanced math or physical limitations. And it can be hard trying to find a new path especially at my age. And I'm married and I can't just go off and move for a job. But the problem is I live in a small city one hour away from Birmingham, and there's not a lot of job opportunities unless you want to get into human resources or health care of some kind. So I don't really know what I would be good in and what I can handle if I do got to college. But I will say that I have a burning desire to see the world and to travel and to see something other than my small little city. I feel like I'm trapped here and I can't leave because this is where my husband works and for his family is and with me it's completely different because all of my closest family members have passed away. So only my husband and his family who I love is what holds me here. That being said, I really want the opportunity to be able to travel and have the means to do so. And it would be so wonderful to be able to go on vacations with my family that we normally would never be able to afford to go to. And I can't help but wonder if this is something I might be able to do. Now I know that college degrees is not exactly required but I have heard that degrees and hospitality management and tourism can certainly help you get hard or seek more leadership roles and this is all new to me so I would appreciate it if you could advise me on one or some great college degree programs I should consider studying that I can handle even with me having issues with advanced math. And if it's a great degree that can offer me job opportunities even if things with becoming a flight attendant doesn't work out. Because I do hear that it's really hard just to even get through the hiring process as a flight attendant. And I had no idea that they only have small windows of when they are hiring. I definitely would be more interested in working in a commercial airline based in Birmingham Alabama. And online I read where people said that it is possible to continue living where I am an hour away from Birmingham Alabama if I was to try for a flight attendant position for Southwest airlines for example. I definitely would want to go with a commercial airline status part of a union. So if you have any suggestions or links to videos of yours that I should watch please let me know. And You mentioned that you sometimes post when these airlines are hiring, can you provide me with information on how to find you and keep up with when these places are hiring? I'm curious since you also once lived in Alabama, what airlines would you suggest are best that pay well and are part of the union that are both commercial or regional airlines. Even though I would prefer commercial. I just want to get my foot in the door. And I don't know exactly how much starting out pay is for a flight attendant. And how much the salary increases after 10 years but I would appreciate any advice you have or information. Also I have a question on the benefits after working as a flight attendant for 10 years and retiring. Say for example you worked for an airline for 10 years as a flight attendant and you decided to quit and do something else. Do you still get benefits From the airline because it sounded like you can based on what I read online. Also, I heard that if you have her needed discs and certain issues that you can get accommodations and avoid any extreme heavy lifting. So I definitely would want to do that and I have proof of my herniated discs in x-rays to show for it. I just wonder if it's still a possibility even though online it sounded like it was. But I would appreciate any information you can provide me. And I hope you have a blessed day.
Should I take flight attendant classes before I apply? So when they ask me what I would do in certain situations I know. Or will they teach me when I get the job?
I flew Delta Airlines from Fort Laudable to Boston back home. If only you were working that flight. By the way St. Thomas is my favorite vacation destination so if you ever are working that trip would you mind filming that day?
my dream job is a flight attendant. I'm about to get my GED and i want to know any tips and tricks to help prove yourself as worth it. Also what not to do.
Hi ma'am I love your video so much, it's so inspiring. I'm currently still in high school and i want to become a flight attendant What if i do not have any experience after i attend aviation school And also instead of GED for a high school diploma can I use GCE??
I don’t know if you have any idea on this, but do you know if it’s possible to apply for a non American airline company while living in the USA? Like JAL, ANA, Korean, Quantas, etc
Hello. Thanks for feedback. In my case I have a flight attendant course that I took in Europe. My question is?? Before applying for any US Airlines company, I need to do any course here? or the company, once they hire you they will give you the training? Thanks😊
I just have one very important concerning question…when it comes to applications, do you need to have a working permit of that country to be able to work there Asking on behalf of International applicants, because I’ve seen requirements like that on most airlines especially UAE own, and I’m not sure I get how international applicants do get the job if they don’t base there or have their work permit
Hey Charli I'm very interested but i don't have Instagram how would I be able to get the content you put up there pertaining to Flight attendants and when they have openings to apply, Please let me know i want to apply on the fourth next month and question do we give your name so you get lower seniority
Hey hey! So if you go to whatever company that you are interested in if the flight attendant application isnt on there, you can actually set an alert so they can email you when it’s open. Also, that’s very sweet that you want to help me out with my seniority! But you can only help by coming to my base once you get hired for my airline! Let me know if you need any more help!
I applied a couple of months ago and I got a thank you but no thank you email. I know I have to wait for a new reference number for the job, but do I also still have to wait 3 months from when I got the email?
I was a little too honest about how I handle stress when I did the assessment 😅 I can handle stress for the most part but I am that person that will be freaking out internally 😂
Hi, thanks for watching. I don’t know what airline you’re referring to so I can’t really help you out on that aspect but I think all of this information is usually listed in the email. If how you answered about how you handle stress is a true assessment of who you are then I would (instead of trying to change your answers to get the job) really think about if this is a job that you can handle.
hey Charli, did you say delta and united are currently hiring? I checked and didn't see anything under flight attendant hiring just in other languages for delta...and was wondering how do you get notified about when they open the hiring gates? Just want to stay informed so I can get my CJO..thanks for your videos. (:
You can sign up for job alerts for both Delta and United on their websites and they’ll send you notifications when they have open flight attendant positions.
Hi. I am not Charli but check on their website! I checked the website almost every day. I heard they are hiring flight attendant more than 4000 in 2024! 😊
