Absolutely incredible and practical tips. I am also a freelance writer and have partnered with local newspapers for years to write as a freelancer, essentially creating my own business. I started this in college and still continue it today.
thank you every video I saw didn't really explain it good. you actually gave me some hope I could do it its my own self doubt that's holding me back but I love waiting/talking about the things I love so thank you
i want to gatekeep this video. It is soo helpful! I've been thinking of doing freelance work while studying so I could practice my skills while also making an income out of it. I've been lost for months and now I know what to do. Thank you so much and wish me luck!
Hi ... I rarely comment on any video but I just want to Thank you and say I really appreciate you for posting this informational video. You were clear, organized and spoke to your viewers as if you actually have their best interest in mind. I do not know if it possible for you to contact me personally as I would love to pick your brain. Obviously you are much younger than myself but you have a real niche for teaching lil lady. I have many interests and everyone always says I should write a book instead of freelance. I think just the opposite because I have a short attention span like a puppy running wild. I just want to say thank you as I have browsed and slightly started researching in the freelance world. So I actually subscribed and again just thought I would send a um... I guess shout out lol... I would pick you to freelance for me anyway if I was in the fortune 500 lol.. seriously I would.
Thank you so much for this I was looking for a vid that told me step by step what to do and this was that vid! I took down some notes and I'm setting goals now. I'll keep you updated on my progress ^.^ Thank you so much!
hi! i am really interested in becoming a freelance writer. for my niche, i want to write about travel/veganism :) is there a site where i can make a website for free, or do i have to pay to make one no matter what?
Greetings! I would like to recommend “Wordpress” because it’s hassle free and easy to use. It’s an app where it’ll help you to make your own website and profile, it’s not completely free but mostly the features of this app can give you wide variety of writing tools you can use. It’s your choice whether to purchase some products but for me it’s already A+ considering it will help you with all the things you need as a beginner and pro writer :> 😅
do you feel like it’s a stable source of income? is it possible to do it without a traditional job? i really don’t want to work under someone but i’m trying to find ways to fund my creative goals and i’ve had no luck for months. i’m thinking about this since writing has always been a strong skill for me
Greetings! I believe that as long as you have a long term client or have the skills you will gain money. But there’s still point in time that you won’t be able to have some clients for a month, even though you can use that period of time to enhance and polish your writing skills. (For me) it’ll become a stable income roughly after five to seven months depending on how you write your content and communication tothe clients
Did you have any specific training or preparation for free-lance writing? I just love to write but idk what my niche would be or how to write professionally 😨
I have a B.A in English, was a really intelligent student during my undergraduate, but in my country, the degree is not appropriated, I hope to get a writing job to keep things on
Do you have advice for getting a job as a writer for a magazine? There’s a few that I’m interested in, but they’re in another country and I don’t have any experience :/ I don’t think just a blog would help..maybe freelance work does?
Great video! I really appreciate the tips about googling my niche + write for us! Very helpful! I will start right away! I would also like to advise you to check out Jorden Makelle for inspiration! Do you do any 1 on 1 coaching?
After watching this video I'm highly discouraged to try writing freelance. Seems way too competitive and low paying and just not worth the effort unless you're incredibly passionate. Think I'll pass.
