In todays video you will watch a massive ceremony from the Maasai tribe in Tanzania. The Ceremony is held for the young Maasai and it's the first step of becoming a warrior and entering manhood. The ceremony is held every 7 years only and is performed by all Maasai in Kenya and Tanzania at the same time. The age group contains boys from ages 7-17 and they will perform multiple rituals and exams with the guidance of Maasai elders. There were a lot of things we couldn't film sadly but we hope the few things we captured gave you an cool insight into our culture and lives. We are one of the last indigenous tribes that mainly still live traditionally and natural as our ancestors before. A warrior for us means not giving up, not quitting and taking responsibility for taking care of our lands.
