Yes I have a question! So I heard that there are different places to work as a marine biologist what I am trying to say is people work on boats, labs and more. What do u prefer. Aaaaaand what collage or high school do u prefer! I made myself a research book about this career.😁 I have a collage in mind tho. The collage I want to go to is Orange Coast Collage. One of my goals. Learn to swim😬 I suck at that so I try to practice. But u gave me inspiration to be a marine biologist😊
I most definitely love working in the field! But I do also love looking the information I collected over in a computer afterward. You’re right that marine biologists can work in very different places! Some spend lots of time in a lab, others spend lots of time on the open ocean, and other spend hours underwater. They also often teach in a classroom 🤓. Answering your question about colleges, i think the best options for marine biology are ones that are located along the coast! Florida and California have some fantastic programs, but so does the north east as well. It sounds like Orange Coast might be a great option for you!

I feel almost bad for admitting this...but I legit want to explore and study the most nightmarish creatures the sea has to offer. Weirder the better. But I'd have to go out of state to even begin looking at that kind of career path. Arizona doesn't really offer a whole lot in that regard xD

Just wait till you get out. Start you general courses now, take science and math classes, then apply to a university when you’re done with your enlistment.

Hello bro , Actually I just want to know that can I be a marine biologist along with surgeon . The point is I am from India and here we have to give a exam called NEET to become a doctor. It takes 12-13 years to become a well paid surgeon .But along with this I just also wanted to be a marine biologist . And as per my knowledge a marine biologist can do work on field in very small amount of time and left of time period he/she do paper work or other research work in lab . But pls clear my doubt becoz I want to be a marine biologist but can ignore my profession . And one more point as you said in this video that we requires funding for project so for funding on my project my surgeon job can do . I have definitely been looking into this like crazy lately and am still open for advice on this as well. The University of Hawaii and the Hawaii Pacific University I have heard are good schools for Marine Biology. Hope this helps.

Uh can do ur bachlors nd master's in marine science in Chennai if uh want to, but There is very less scope in our India .. even I'm from Pharma field nd now I'm planning for PhD in oceanography..nd looking for southern California State University nd scrippes University.
