I will graduate with an undergraduate degree in psychology next spring and am looking to extend my education. I will be 34 in January. What military can I enjoy and complete my master's or PhD?
I’m a Marine Corps veteran currently applying to graduate programs for a PhD in Clinical psychology. I am lucky enough to still have my 100% GI bill, but I would really like to hear about any resources for veterans looking to get into a doctoral program and possible financial resources, as I have a dependent I still have to provide for while I go to school.
Look into the yellow ribbon program they will cover everything and the school most often times will match their cost. If you’re 100% there are so many benefits. Also file for your FASFA and Pell grant you won’t have to pay it back. Hope that helps!
I am currently enlisted active duty and looking into this career and I wonder what the process looks like being active duty the pre-requirements we will need and what waivers we can get.
These are fantastic questions! I think discussing that with a recruiter might be helpful as I'm not sure what the requirements might look like for active duty. I can also see if I can find some resources to share. Best of luck to you.
