This was an awesome and informative interview. Great questions from Phil and very well articulated and helpful answers from Ethan. Thank you both!

I will graduate with an undergraduate degree in psychology next spring and am looking to extend my education. I will be 34 in January. What military can I enjoy and complete my master's or PhD?

Great questions, typically you can contact recruiters and they can better answer your questions to what might be the right fit. Best of luck!

I’m a Marine Corps veteran currently applying to graduate programs for a PhD in Clinical psychology. I am lucky enough to still have my 100% GI bill, but I would really like to hear about any resources for veterans looking to get into a doctoral program and possible financial resources, as I have a dependent I still have to provide for while I go to school.

Look into the yellow ribbon program they will cover everything and the school most often times will match their cost. If you’re 100% there are so many benefits. Also file for your FASFA and Pell grant you won’t have to pay it back. Hope that helps!

I am currently enlisted active duty and looking into this career and I wonder what the process looks like being active duty the pre-requirements we will need and what waivers we can get.

These are fantastic questions! I think discussing that with a recruiter might be helpful as I'm not sure what the requirements might look like for active duty. I can also see if I can find some resources to share. Best of luck to you.

I think the u.s. requires u.s. citizenship if I’m not mistaken but not sure about the UK
