Im in my second semester of nursing school (BScN) and I still watch these videos to remind me of why I'm doing this to myself lmao. I got my high school credits at 25, which took me about 2 years, did 2 years of electives (psych, ethics, etc) and now I'm almost finished my 1st year (out of 4). Nursing is hard, stressful, rewarding and so broad all at the same time. I can't wait to graduate. One major thing when considering nursing is compassion. A nurse with compassion goes a very long way.

Thank you, currently enrolling back into school. Debating my career, but I've always known I've wanted to help people. Health care has been an interesting route to me. No one has really explained how to get into it, only how it is to be a Registered Nurse. I appreciate this video.

I'm an LPN ,..attended a LPN to RN in my late 20s failed (working and school Full time) got discouraged,..credits expired and now I'm thinking of doing it all over again. I'm 45

Do it. I’m 25 haven’t done anything with my life but work for Automotive companies that lied about paying for training. Tired of cars tbh and thinking about nursing. Just got offered a free CNA training position, I’m about to do it!

Can I go to a community college the transfer to a university to get my bsn will it still count as a bachelor degree

Yes it will, do as many classes at community as you can to save the most money.

Working over the summer or during the prerequisite coursework is ok, but it's usually not recommended to work during the professional phase of your education.
